| Cool!
For YEARS we just placed models to the side for Pit Fights, then last week Playtable and Marneus set one up in a ruined basement in one of my risers (Toth Amon thread). Suddenly Pit fights are all the rage.

| That looks like a great arena! And I love the idea of mini pit fighter sub-campaign. Very cool. If you find the time, maybe you can write down the rules and put them up here? | |

| GREAT LOOKING STUFF! The big ruin in particular is FANTASTIC...seems appropriate. These will be WONDERFUL additions to the Flame On scenery. I, for one, am looking forward to their progress, AND the games they'll be gracing. | |

| There better be something big hiding in that labyrinth. Nice work. The buildings gave me chills. There is almost no place safe to walk past that building without being at risk of a sniper inside. | |

| A big monster that isn't claustrophobic. I like the idea of the revolving center room. Its fairly versatile for many scenarios. I am assuming you have written a specific scenario for it though. | |

| Rat ogres definitely aren't claustrophobic...it may be big enough in such closed quarters. | |

| Absolutely stunning. Can I ask how you have painted the walls? They look so... dirty. Mine are always too clean, and I don't know how to make them look more like... well, more like yours Great work! | |

Sure! I painted the whole area with watered-down Iyanden Darksun, then "stippled" Tausept Ochre across the top half. (Stippling is when you sort of jab at the surface with and big, rough old brush loaded up with quite a lot of paint). Repeat the process across the top quarter with Calthan Brown, the bottom third with Iyanden Darksun, then the same but on the bottom quarter with Bleached Bone. Leaving some of the colour underneath visible with each layer and try not to do the stippling in straight lines, also concentrate more on the middle of each area than the edges, so it sort of "fades" from one colour to the next. The cracks are just lined on afterwards with Scorched Brown.

| Looking good WbK. Wall could get a bit dirtier.
I know there will be puddles and stuff, but Boss there ain't no floor drain. The pit floor and the lower walls could use a stain of blood.

I thought about a healthy splash of claret, but I didn't want the whole thing to just be dark brown - blood doesn't dry red remember! I think it might look odd with too much of "the fresh stuff" all over the shop. We'll see though... I may add more gore-stains as the campaign progresses.... @cianty - I'll get a wide shot sorted for you
