| Like yourself I'm a fan of West Wind's Gothic Horror stuff (along with a lot of their other thingies)...Great Minds & kindred spirits. Their latest additions look VERY COOL & TEMPTING. Unfortunately, unless W.W. has a deal cooked up with Old Glory, they won't be available on this side of The Pond for those of us sans credit cards & PayPal.  | |

Does somebody know if the EotD are compatible with GW sizewise?

When I see miniatures without scale shot or something I take the ruler and measure proportions (ie. base lenght to miniature height) on the screen.  Then I take a base used on the picture (in this case 30mm, warmachine type) and check how tall is a miniature in the real scale. I know it's weird but it never failed me yet! | |

| I think they are these:  They are used by some mini makers such as Privateer Press (I think they were first so they're called "warmachine" sometimes), Wyrd Miniatures or Dark Age. If you see 28-30mm scale miniature on a base that looks like this they are almost cartainly 30 mm WM. Other most popular base style is standard gw 20 - 25mm or used exclusively (mayby) by mantic, flat 20mm base with an insert. However it's always good to mail and ask a seller if he could measure a miniature (they even sometimes do  ). | |
