| Hey! Some of you may have seen like my whole army on my other plog (https://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/t1838-elves-humans-possesed-vampires-and-fishmen). I have recently get really inspired by "Storm of Magic" and have decided to redo my Empire wizards (and ad a few more wizards, you can't get to many ) and make them more lore-specific. Because these magicians are not finished or painted I make a new plog here Well, give me lots and lots of inspiration how to make these perfect and how to paint them so them look as the lore them represent. Here there are: Lore of Fire wizard. Going to redo the staff. Lore of Death wizard Lore of Light wizard Lore of Beast wizard. Lots of things to do on this one, have a vision to make it more like the beast-wizard in the storm of magic-book. And wanna add some animal, and lots more fur on the cloak, and some cool hat with horns... Lore of Shadow wizard Looking forward to read a lots of comments!!

| have now idea what the lore of grey is (the other lores are understandable ) but those minis are looking smashing! I especially like the spooky looking death wizard. Seems like he is a short step from turing into a fully fledged necromancer Och förresten så är det kul att se andra svenskspråkiga här | |

| Haha, was thinking of "grey wizard" as it says in the empire book, but did changes it to "shadow" now Alex: Thanks! Think the death wizard is going to work extra as a necromancer in my vampire army, so don't wanna make him look to empire-ish. Ja, det är grymt kul! Har sett att det finns en och annan svensk här faktiskt! Theorox: Thanks! Actually not that happy with the fire wizards staff yet, but with some more work with the staff it may be looking awesome! | |

| VERY COOL STUFF...it's entertaining just trying to pick out all the various sources for the bits comprising the minis. The Lore of Death is my favorite in the group...reminds me of a couple of Black Scorpion minis I have on hold. Keep up the GOOD WORK! | |

| Thanks The Death wizard is the new necromancer, it was way to cool not to buy it. It's just eight lores, and I only begin with five of them. So I was thinking, why not do three more wizards Have not yet a idea for a lore of heaven, but ideas for a lore of life and a lore of metal is starting to take form. The lore of life wizard is going to look like the one in the storm of magic book. Extremely WIP: The lore of matel wizard is going to be a lore of heavy metal/punk rocker girl Something like this: | |

| to be honest I dont really care for the chains as they are right now. THe idea is good and it fits the metal theme but htey seem a little stale. Otherwise looking good. I like Tree dude, looks a bit like an old hippie druid, hopefully defnala havent trademarked the druid look | |

| Jag är också Svensk. Alla jäklar här är Svenska! xD The metal chick is cool, but remove or change the chains I think. They need to be more fluent, or they'll draw the eye towards it as unrealistic. The Amber wizard looks cool too. Theo | |

| Thanks for all the comments First: the chains on the metal wizard is gone now! The painting has begun, I'm really not the greatest painter, not even close. But want to try to take some extra time with these wizards and make them as good as I can. I did start with the fire wizard. Far from done, but he looks like this now: My plan is to make the cloak a bit darker, so it will be a contrast from the dress. The dress is not really that pink. I didn't use the flash this time, and the colors don't match the reality. Maybe time to build one of these light boxes...hm, nah, later.. | |

| Excellent kit-bashing!
Where did the (Heavy) Metal Wizard's head come from?
I agree with the rest of you about the chains - good idea, but they did not fit with the flow/pose of the figures. Don't any kits have more dynamic chains?
I wonder if you could pick up some delicate chains from a hobby store or somewhere (for jewelry?) and shape them like you want and then fix them with a clear glue.

Might some of the Bloodcrusher or Marauder Horsemen chains work? (maybe)

| Thank you all for the comment.. As 5pointer said, the head is a deamonette head. About the chains, not sure I'm going to look for some chains, I'm keeping it simple. Alex: Of course it's Absolut The work with the bright wizard or the Pyromatic or The Wizard of the wind of Aqshy, is coming to a end, he look like this now: As we say in Sweden: Vi ses. (in English: See you later.) | |

| Well, one more update. Have started with my Grey wizard, or shadow wizard, or wizard of the wind of Ulgu. He look like this now: A lot to do with this one, higlighting and stuff, but have not yet figure out what how I want to paint the staff, any ideas? For the swedish speaking people (you can translate it with google translate or whatever if you are curios what I write ): Kul att jag råkat samla ihop alla svensktalande här, håller med Alex om att det är kul att mordheim verkar vara relativt stort här. Något som inte märks då man talar med personalen på GW, som knappt vet vad mordheim är för spel | |
