Very nice choice of miniatures and I like the color-schemes on most of them. The paintjob itself seems to be something of a rushjob though. I am curious what you could do with the minis if you'd spend a little more time on them. They certainly deserve it.

You've got yourself some EXCELLENT minis that all work very nicely together. The Group Portrait is really cool. They're going to look fantastic once complete...have FUN with the painting!

Thanks for the comments everyone. I've been horrible at painting for the last few years. Eyes getting older, lazy habits. I quickly slapped some paint on these after the first Toth Amon campaign because I was embarrassed by the primed minis in all the photos. As you can see I still have primed minis and 2 of my hired swords haven't even seen primer.
Anyway Playtable was kind enough to snap some photos at the last game night to show SerialMoM which models I was using.
The color scheme is from one of the Osprey books on Arab armies from a plate by the late Angus McBride.

They look great to me! He's also a great person to play in a game if anyone is curious. I've had the pleasure of clashing swords with his warband once or twice!

A bit of Threadomancy!
Deafnala was kind enough to increase the numbers of painted models in my collection by two. I have posted them in my campaign diary in the Battle Reports section, but many people do not go there. So may I present Mir Sher and the Genie Binder:
Thank you very much Al!

My pleasure! Sending them to you was a great excuse for painting them up. AND they look good in their new surroundings.

Not Arabyans but a WIP of my Tomb Guardians. The guy on the horse represents my crippled M3 mummy. Just an I-phone photo for now: Stone Golem, knight and Lichepriest

Even with the less than close up photos, the Living Impaired Lads & Stoned Dude look TERRIFIC. Just a bit of basing & you'll have three snappy Mostly Dead Guys. GREAT WORK!

LOOKIN' GOOD! Maybe a red glow to their eyes to enhance their unearthly nature might be in order. Have you noticed the Stone Golem bears a distinct resemblance to Lou Ferrigno?

Thanks Al, the painting bug has been swapped for this pesky spring cold, but I did work up these two kit bashed Arabians. Puppets War is making resin Arabian heads to fit plastic minis, I got a few a couple of weeks ago...

Ooh, new Arabians look promising! How was the quality of the Puppets War heads you ordered? I got some Samurai heads from them a while back that were pretty bad. They sent me a second set to make up for it, but there were still some nasty bubbles and warps. And what kit is the saber from?

The latest Sons of the Desert look SPLENDID...nice head swaps. Keep up the FINE WORK when the spirit moves you.
I haven't been doing much with the minis either. The Graveyard has most of my limited attention, but basing, converting, & a prime coat sneak in periodically.

Thanks guys!
@NoisyAssassin--Puppet War sent extra heads from the get go, but most have casting issues (bubbles). Fortunately the holes are in the cloth of the turban and scarves, so they should be easy to fix.
The scimitar (saber) is from the current GW skeleton box. Unfortunately I think there is only one per box as opposed to the 5 you got with the old kit.

Good idea to use high elves as arabyans, I'll have to remember that one.

By the beard of the Prophet, that is a FINE LOOKING miniature. He looks the part of a defender of the faith, AND a BEAUTIFULLY painted creation he is. VERY WELL DONE!
