| First off... WELCOME ABOARD Fearless Leader Tom's But Surprisingly Cool At At Times Nonetheless Mordheim Forum. Have a FUN stay! LOOKIN' GOOD! The cobblestones & paving stones turned out nicely; AND I like your earth tones. That long rift on the second board is an interesting feature...has possibilities. Keep up the GOOD WORK! Sorry I can't help you with the Liquitex stuff. My (mixed) experiences have been with the various Woodland Scencis things. | |

| Hello, First welcome at Tom's Beware ! I had a "very" bad experience with Liquitex water effect on foam... You need to put some white glue or stucco on your rift before you play with "water"... Many "water effects" shreck the foam and make crevices on it. Very good work so far indeed.... Wait to see it finished. Jacques | |

| Very cool in deed. Love your texture. I've never tried that kind of water effect. Only woodland Scenics on my part. Doo check on a test piece in adwance, taking into consideration that the thicker the puddle the more heat is produced. From what I've learned - if perfect masking is required; drop it.
And ... please loose the blitz, sir.

| VERY NICE PROGRESS! The new building looks good ; & the amount of tenacity necessary to do that many cobblestones is IMPRESSIVE. Keep up the GOOD WORK...once you can focus your eyes again. | |

Jacques I'll second that. I've had similar problems withJarvis water effect. The board looked fine for a few days than cracks started to appear evrywhere. I'd suggest you make some sample test before. Good work so far by the way.

| Allright, I basecoated the second piece of the board today and I really think it looks impressive with the wet paint still on it. So I have to post an image. As far as watereffects goes, I think I will wait some time and maybe check some different solutions out. I don't think it'll be worth it buying some epoxyresin for 30 Euro for just one small stream. The results I got with the Liquitex was also dissapointing, it's not even completely transparent yet after 48 hours and counting! | |

| Allright, I have made some progress with my molding and started building some kind of manor house. I plan to continue the work with cardboard and balsawood, to add one or two floors and possibly a tower to the building. Pictures below! | |

| Well mate, you've got a longer attention span than me. Them cobbles look sweet.
What did you draw the cobbles on to? Looks Lisa like foamcore but I'm Not sure.
Cheers | |

| That's coming along VERY NICELY One of the better features of W.I.P. pieces is the air of mystery in watching their evolution. Is that a tower developing on the right corner of the building in the works? | |

| That's some really great stuff. How long did it take to draw on all the cobblestones? I was thinking about making a textured board, but i thought i might cheat and get some textured wallpaper for the cobblestone effect. God knows why you'd want it on your wall, but as a model floor it works pretty well. | |

| Finally got around to finishing my manor building. Started out the first Mordheim campaign in several years. Will (hopefully) finish some more buildings in the near future. | |

| What material did you use for the base "manor house", if you don't mind me asking? | |

The manor house is built from hirst arts blocks, balsatree and foamcore, also some graystuffing done to fix the tiling of the blocks, but it still shows a lot. I wish I had more time for the paintjob, or at least an airbrush, but regular cans of basecoat can work out just fine.
