| Ha ha, I guess I should ask them for a percentage. If you tell em it was me who suggested contacting them I'm sure they'll remember. I had a long email discussion with one of them about their work, conversions, scenery and stuff. Nice dude. From their ebay auctions I've seen what they can do with Green Stuff so I'm sure they can do that crusade type of look. Keep us posted! | |

| I dunno....I need to think about it . I feel like I should try to do something myself. Ill think about it. (Sadly all kinds of ideas are now running through my head. Ideas of different conversions they could do, all for different warbands. ) | |

| No worries. Just wanted to keep you informed.
They said they can make them like the picture you posted 11th-13th Century. I told them I was not interested in the Bretonnian style of foot nights...too much gold and pomp.

| I started with 40k, Space Marines, big suprise there, then moved on to WHFB. I have the 6thed boxset models and 6thed Dwarfs. Not much to be honest. Im trying to show you guys a picture of the mini I'm proudest of, but Photobucket is taking F-O-R-E-V-E-R....so when It loads I'll edit him in. Edit Here He is, ignore the space marine | |

| So basically, as the new title for my thread states, I'm in a bit of a conundrum. I was looking through the Perry Bros minatures, trying to find out what models I wanted to buy, and I came upon the relisation that I had lost my passion for the Knights. I still love the idea, but I think that there is a lack of minatures, even when converted, that could do the idea justice. The Perry sculpts are very limited, and in my eyes do not convey the correct feeling of what i'm trying to do. Essentially, my question is, do I forge ahead and buy the minis, even though I feel that they wont do the idea justice? Or should I start over and work on another project? Basically I have a couple of ideas that I'll post here, even though they are unrelated, and lets see what the community has to say about it. 1. Continue the Knights, buying the Perry Bros Minis and Lotr Haradrim to try and create what I'm looking for. 2. Start a Slaaneshi Marauder warband, based on the daemonette plastics with marauder legs and different forearms. To prove a similar thing (although 40k) can be done, check this out: http://warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=151364&highlight=doghouse3. Do a Beastman warband from Empire in Flames. The Beasts are what got me to look at Warhammer Fantasy, so they hold a softspot for me. I'd theme them as from the north, maybe with a Yhetee conversion for a minotaur. 4. Or do a Dwarfen warband, themed after the crew of an Ironclad. I dont know, but unfortunately this always happens, I get some money to spend and I change my mind. I need to do something, as I want to be able to post models up. Anyway, I seek all of your advice, and thanks in advance! | |

| It does help! It shows that GW has a little interest in the crusades, at least, their employees do. Theres some neat stuff there.
And you know what? That second link is very inspiring, and I am beginning to feel a flame again. Oops! Theres an idea!

| I'm considering retiring this idea for a while, at least until I can find the suitable models. | |

| Nothing wrong with saving your "baby" for a later date when you feel like you can tackle it with the respect it deserves! I myself have many projects that have been put on the back burner for a day when i have better sculpting skills, more money and more time!! | |

| I appreciate the kind words Pathfinder, you are a wise man. I think once im better at sculpting and painting, a warband like this will be perfect for me. Thanks all, for now I declare this thread CLOSED! When I decide what project to start I will most definitely post, hopefully with pictures. | |

| I don't know if anyone of you care but I just found this knight on ebayFor 9 Euro, painted, this seems like a good deal. If I were to make a Bretonnian warband I'd probably buy it (no, it's not my auction ). Cheers | |

| VERY NICE, Pyyr! Putting out all the pieces like that makes the assembly easy enough for EVEN me to follow. The availability of the legs might be a limiting factor, but then there wouldn't be THAT many used in the project AND I'd be willing to kick in a couple I have lying about [damn but I'm a sport ]. | |
