| So, Were going to be playing Mordheim in our own setting of Kleindorf - The same city my group is working on for Warhammer Roleplay and I though I'd start a thread for the buildings as they are finished. Overall, its planned to be a mix of ruins and intact structures. So without further ado, I present what in effect was a trial building to work out the kinks for paint scheme, assembly etc etc More to come as I should be finishing off the Citadel watchtower this afternoon, so I'll have a photo session some point today Ady

| Thanks Havre,
In the end, the wattle & daub was fairly easy - Wilko's ready mixed filler applied by finger, then roughened up with an old toothbrush, Tan acrylic base, sepia wash (Oddly, calligraphy Ink as I've got shedloads of that as well as GW washes etc) then tan-tan/white-tan/white/white heavy drybrush.
Fairly pleased with how the colour worked out myself

| Thanks To be honest, they are almost 100% kit-built, the only modification I made was to add a strip of balse to give a more defined join between the bricks and the plasterwork on all 3 | |

- Ghostbear, you've got a lovely terrain collection! And I really love the way you did those bases. Adds so much character to the buildings.
On a constructive note - I hope - I would add a bit more weathering to the stone work and walls. Check this article - and others on the same blog, for that matter:
http://cianty-tabletop.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2009-03-16T23%3A19%3A00%2B01%3A00&max-results=7
It always gives me loads of ideas for how to paint my terrain.
Joao Thanks for that Joaol, I do plan to add more weathering at some point, though my confidence is low with my painting & modelling, so I figure I'd take it 1 step at a time & build up slowly

| Great start to your village of Kleindorf. I agree with Havre about the barn, that wilko's filler/Toothbrush technique will be getting some serous usage by me. It looks magnificent What's next? | |

| Yes He has finished another one!! Looks good and it is nice to see how you did it over in your WIP blog. I really like the design with the overhang and the porch. Although there seems to be a creepy character hangin round the house, does he think its Halloween or something? Time for a group shot of Kleindorf so far me reckons | |

| That turned out TERRIFIC.... VERY WELL DONE! If the Warlock were a permanent part of the piece, you could have flames coming from the beam directly over his candle; sorry, that's how my mind works...or doesn't. | |

I love the mini, but the candles never quite made sense.. I can see it now.. "Mum! Dads set fire to the ceiling again" "Dear... What have I told you about your candle-hat?" "mutter.. never in the house...." Either that, or he's going to have problems concentrating on spellcasting thanks to the molten wax dribbling into his ear'ole Anyhow.. I'm going to have some more Wip shots up soon, just as soon as it's a bit more identifiable than a pile of foamcore & balsa

| This color scheme, very sober, is pretty well thought! I also like the way you've hidden the skulls of the chapel with windows. May I borrow the idea?! | |

Help yourself Yeah, the skulls can be an issue if you want the chapel to look more like a civilian building.
