What else to say. The artist has followed the specifications to the letter. The hired assassin/enforcer has attracted a lot of attentions but survived today's battle, only just, after a decidedly dicey combat against three opponents. Yes, this femme fatale takes on all comers.
My annual multi-player Birthday battle we play was ended after 2 rounds. That was a total of 17 turns played by 9 warbands!
I should write things up on the Liber Malefic blog this week while incidents are still fresh in my mind. My sea elves were crushed though so will be licking my wounds for the next few days. ^^^ Wish I lived 50 miles west . Great paint work Joaos, brilliant bit of work! Also great conversion werekin

Don't let a silly bit of geography spoil all the fun! Dwarfs live west from here. We had a warband of Treasure Hunters visit from Gravesend last summer! When are you and your dwarfs free? It would be magnificent to see a Runesmith lead some (Nemesis Crown supplement) Dwarf Rangers in to the Free City of Marienburg.

| More of the same, in a way. I still haven't found the right momentum to paint in full flow, as I'm between too many projects at the moment. While I'm trying to emerge from the hobby chaos, here are some small updates. I painted a few more civilians for the town. The name of this place is most likely to be Grymmford (I have tons of fluff to write about the locations, its inhabitants, names of places, etc.). The buildings and models obviously can be used for Mordheim and other games. So, here are the latest stuff: Strumpet from Hasslefree Miniatures, Innkeeper from Black Cat Bases and a Pimp from Foundry Miniatures. Two thieves from Citadel (old school stuff), girl from GW's Frenzied Mob, GW Bretonnian peasant (I think) and Man Whittling, from Megaminis. I also painted some more civilians from Bruegelburg. Here are some action shots from Grymmford: South entrance of the town. Every traveller is usually greeted by beggars and palm readers. Local baker fights a peasant. West Market buzz. Innkeeper taking a break and looking at the market from afar. Begging at Veterans' Square. Artisan in his spare time. Some hard work going on at the forge. Stray dogs by the market arch. Not a good idea to get near when they're fighting over some bones and leftovers. Potion seller. Getting some water from the well. With the daily demand of water, this tends to be a full time job for some ladies. Street Performers. The blind minstrel is usually the main attraction, but don't underestimate the puppeteer with its notorious play "The Monk's Head and the Dead Bishop"! Brother Jules shouting at a convict. He doesn't want any impure souls roaming the local temple. Strumpet by the Old Tavern alley. The prettier they are, the more you have to pay... Jonas, the pimp. Don't judge him for his small stature. He is famous for his bearknuckle fights and is known to have punched an Ogre to death once. Vicious Lane is definitely not the place you want to walk through if you're travelling alone... Joao | |

| Great choice of minis and colors, very well executed also. I especially like the two old Citadel-thugs, they turned out very very nice and have a lot of flair. | |

| Ha ha! Good one, floedebolle! But hey, you might actually receive some of my stuff if my girlfriend tells me that we're running out of space in the house! Thanks for all the comments, guys! Unfortunately I haven't been able to paint more and I still haven't finished all the buildings that I started off over a year ago. The new buildings will start to take over the old ones (which are pre-made from companies like GW and Ziterdes). So hopefully the town will look a bit different and more in line with my vision of it. | That'S a lot of work but it surely was worth it. Like it a lot and great to see you back on the forum!
Edit: just browsed through your blog and found out about Midlam Miniatures this way. They are really nice. I actually got one of their minis but thought it was an old Citadel mini till just now. P.S. the halflings are now 38% off, since you mentioned you might want to get some.
