As you all know, witchhunter types are harder to find and tend to command a premium in price. And for Roleplay, I'm always trying to get watchmen/warden types as the mini selection is more geared to battle. Sooo, after seeing a few inspirations here in the forum, I planned out making my own with green stuff.

After looking these guys over, some of your are probably going to notice that my GreenStuff-Foo is weak. Well, its my first time and I'm pleased enough with the results to share.

Heads from empire militia and emprie greatswords mostly. Bodies are empire archers (the hardest to find as bits) and assorted other bits. I'm using a stainless wax carving set to shape the GS which is good enough unless you all know something better.

These are the furthest along...

The One Guy will be holding a torch

Im liking the two above best so far - the one with the parchment will be holding a set of shackles

these last two are good as well. Need to craft another sword arm for the one and the other will also be holding shackles.

I have 3-4 others that Im planning out with lanterns and such but they havent really been started. Something about the tatty hats and duster-style cloaks and coats really works for me as it is uniform-y enough for watchmen and road wardens as well as dark enough for the witch hunters even without the twin tailed comets and sigils everywhere.

PRETTY COOL LOOKING Old Lady Burners! Any defects in the G.Sing must be more apparent from your end; your conversion work seem rather nice in the photos. You have captured the right feel for the Lads...keep up the GOOD WORK! thumbsup

In agreement with deafnala here! Your work looks really good, the models have lots of character, and each one is different in appearance and pose compared to the others.
