Some time ago - quite a long time ago, actually - Tagnator converted a Cathayan warrior/mercenary with a pet monkey for me. I have it laying around here for way too long now and it's time it gets some colour. The miniature is up on my to do list and will be the next model I post. I'll start painting it right now...

It definitely fits with the somewhat bizarre feel of Mordheim. The Monkey is OBVIOUSLY the brains of the outfit &, as such, is calling the shots. I echo everyone else's hopes to see it painted up. WELL DONE, Tagnator & cianty!

I don't know how many of you are familiar with the old Pop-Eye the Sailor cartoons, but that monkey is a dead ringer for a character called "The Jeep"

the model is painted but I can't take pictures because it is too dark and the lamp I usually use is broken. I don't know if I will be able to take photos tomorrow as I won't be at home during the ca. one hour when there is a usable level of lightness in my rooms. I guess I should just buy a new light bulp...

That is GREAT, cianty! One of the nicest pieces you've produced thus far; the Monkey adds a touch of whimsy to a fine mini. AND the presentation is stunning; the mine shots in particular are VERY cinematic. EXCELLENTLY DONE!

Those were a real pain to take. I was on the verge of going completely mad when I finally found a way of having the stupid camera take shots that are not either totally blurry or look like complete night (read: black picture). I guess they turned out okay in the end. I just realised that I originally wanted to place some barrels inside the mine when taking the pictures. Oh well...

The mine is the first finished pieces of my Tunnel Tiles, by the way.

I hope to post another update in this thread soon with the painted Marco Colombo model to represent my Merchant. Keep your fingers crossed.

When I was looking at this mini, I thought "Oh, nice, but something is looking strange here" (apart from the monkey on his back) and then I realised it's the totally awesome tunnel, which looks so cool that I didn't even realise it was a piece of scenery in the first place. Simply "Wow!"

There are many great wagons and carts out there. Foundry and recently Eureka have many great models in their ranges. For BTB I do not use any miniatures/models by non-GW producers so none of them is an option for this warband.

EDIT: LOL. Sorry! I had to scroll up as I didn't know what you meant. Really stupid of me! In my current situation I can only take really bad quality photos. I might take another shot when things have changed.
