| Painting up a Beastman Warband right now, and there's one part I always dread — doing the horns!
I don't like drybrushing because I feel it just looks too messy. I generally hit it like details, but was wondering if anyone else has any tips for quick, effective techniques to do this.

| Bleached bone with a gryphon sepia wash works for me. I then use a tiny bit of skull white for highlighting. | |

| How about:
- base coat Khemri Brown - wash with Devlan Mud - highlight Bleached Bone
Warning: this is theory. My full scheme for painting horns involves more layers of Khemri Brown mixed with gradually more Bleached Bone. (This is after the Devlan Mud wash)

| I use Reaper paints, but have found corresponding colors. I only use washes toward the end, to smooth out the gradations between highlights - thanks for the input, everyone!
