Khemri warbands/setting, which one do you like more?

If i understood it right, the project on the following site is the original Khemri project:

Please correct me if am wrong.

I like the choice of warbands on this site verymuch.

I think for example the nomad warband is more competitive than the tomb robber list of the Town Cryer in comparison to the warbands of the basic rule book. And the tomb robber lust is clearly based on the nomad list

What do you think? Was the editing for the TownCryer good for the khemri setting and the warbands?

The Town Cryer lists toned the warbands down and eliminated a lot of the special equipment. The Tomb Guardian list got gutted. Awful changes.

We generally use the original warbands and rules when we play, although a couple of players have tried the TC Tomb Guardians, which do poorly.

Both include the horrible Monkey's Paw and Lamp of the Jinn, two of the worst items in Mordheim.

I never thought about those two items.

I only saw that they are realy luck based, so i wouldn't buy them.

Did you eliminate these items from your campign?

Well, we don't. I had started a re-write of Khemri years ago, but that computer died and I lost the files.

Usually we all forget about those items until someone finds one. Then we pray it goes away.

There's a thread around from a couple of years ago with suggested changes.

I now reviewed the other very nice warbands.

I have to thank the people who realised this great project.

Does anybody now if there is an nicely layouted version (of the original version of couse) out there?
