Questions about Khemri

My gaming group and I are currently playing in a khemri campaign, using the khemri warbands, hiredswords, exploration etc. I had a few questions on a few problems that popped up.

Does anyone know where I can find the information on water sources, and
Has anyone had any problems (power-wise) with the magic carpet. After a few games the tomb kings warband got a hold of one and have been zipping around the battle field ever since.

I think it was TC # 16, when they first introduced the location.

Personally, our group never liked using the water rules as it seemed to make things twice as complicated as necessary.
