SerialMoMs Khemri Scenery, New Pics 15.01.2012

I want to show my Khemri table as far as it is now.

I got several tipps in this forum, maybe you have some more ideas.

That's a nice start!

You can fill it out with sand dunes, boulders and jebels. Plam trees, an oasis (depending on the scenario list you use having a couple of oasis pieces is good.)

Then you need something to represent the tombs and their labyrinths!

The palms are on my imiganary to buy list..

The problem i have with sand dunes is that they won't fit perfectly to the ground.

Hmm but the battle mat is too big anyway. Maybe i can use some parts of it to build some dunes.

And the labyrint topic is also a good one. Do you have some examples for a Khemri labyrinth.

We use our cavern scenery and the Warhammer Quest tiles that playtable built. The last couple of pages of the Treasures of Toth Amon campaign thread have dungeon layouts.

StyrofaomKing also posted a link for printable floorplans awhile ago. He might have it in his book marks if you PM him.

Also theres an Egyptian theme dungeon out of Hirst Arts blocks in the Fantasy or Historical wargames subforums.

Another source of inspiration is the Lead Adventurers Forum and the WarGods site.

EXCELLENT START! I really like the ziggerat. Armorcast has some nice, reasonably prices Egyptian stuff: http://armorcast.com/store/index.php?cPath=121_41 ....might be worth checking out or not.

You have to paint Armor Cast yourself. They are supplied unpainted.

Great looking terrain! I like the really decayed look of the pieces. Don't think the round tower fit however.

@mrtn: Yeah the tower is a witch tower for EiF.

@ all: good news: I found some nice scenery in the internet (and aquarium shops of course) and ordered them.

Hereby my pictures:















We enjoyed or first battle very much (for player find the tomb entrance and slay the mummy to find a huge treasure)

In meantime i doubled up the palms, added two sand dunes and one small crypt.

Maybe i can make some pictures soon.

The centerpiece, the pyramid like tempel is also out of gaming possibilities great. You need to climb to the first level and we also use it with some undead as temple guardians.

The feeling was great.

Especially after we found the secret passage into the crypt with the grave of the mummy.

Next time I will also make some pictures of the battle.

Very cool! Have you thought about checking aquarium stores for more scenery? I remember seeing lots of Egyptian themed stuff at my local pet store...

Yeah i am checking the stores in my location constantly, but here in Germany the shops are smaller than in the USA and their program of aquarium scenery is limited. I also did not find an adequate online shop in Germany.

But with the above mentioned palms and the small crypt and dunes i think the table will be awesome too.

I myself search for some Khemri minis, to have a bigger arsenal of tomb guardians.

Maybe i will collect the whole warband too. Hmmm
