I humbly present my first completed warband for Mordheim, Dunaar's Self-Preservation Society, painted to a tabletop quality (I think):-

I agree, old Dwarfs are so much better than the current ones!

I've not got anything specific planned, certainly no special HS for use just with the Society. If I could get some of the old longbeards (like the one with the double-handed sword etc) I'd probably paint them up as alternative options Smile

I've got another 12 warbands planned, nearly all the Dramatis Personae (not Bertha though, which Mrs5Pointer has Smile ), and 100 hired swords/semi-dramatis personae I'm working on. That'll keep me quite busy I think!

Most Folk consider a "table top quality" paint job to be just basic colors; SO you're in a different League...AND there's no Dwarf like an Old Dwarf. PRETTY COOL STUFF & NICELY DONE! thumbsup

Thank you for the kind words! To me, until they reach the quality of most of the other people on this forum, they'll be table-top quality though Smile

Thanks Vissah, they were actually *fun* to paint, the first models since my old Van Saar gang that I felt that way about!

Yep. These oldschool imperial-like dwarves are imo much more fitting to the Mordheim atmosphere. Great work!
