Town Cryer Magazine downloads - check this out!

Damn, appreciate all the hard work, but just gone to print out the City of the Damned artilce in TC26 - its fuzzy and the bottom lines cut off each page (hate moaning)

Went to ADrive the download site and it says that the TC files are no longer available for download this is most disconcerting, any alternatives ??

I second that question and send out a plea to repost the full trove of Town Cryers.

I have all the TCs, but nowhere to host them. If ADrive persists in being uncooperative, I can send them to someone to host.

In the meantime, this site has most of the TCs. Downloads are really slow though.

I can rescan it now and send you a zipped file copy for your own archiving. Let me know. New computer, new scanner!

UPDATE - I am working on getting all the links updated and fixed. I will post here with the NEW links (since Adrive seemed to have renamed the paths). They will also be easier to look at (Short Names for the links instead of full slew of alphaneumeric string)

Well, the files are page files, and not of the complete TC. I DO have the TC, and will be able to scan it to a PDF file in a compilation, but apparently, I forgot. Thanks for reminding me, and it will get done as soon as I get to it.

if i understand correcly, you also like the Pit fighters warband correct?
maybe you know this: why did they remove the Pit fighters from TC14?

They were replaced by the Pit Fighter from TC 21 due to the rules in TC 14 not being 'evened out'. They were overpowered, etc, and the TC 21 version, which is the updated, yet still unofficial, seems to work much better.

I never did play the TC14 version, but I have gone over it. I like the current version much better.

I have played the PF from TC14 and i didnt see where they were overpowered (but im no expert on the metter either).

for a hth warband with no shooting skills, they werent all that bad agains no human warbands.

Also, i think, that the restriction of equipment set its a little too much.
why do i need to have a helmed shield and weapon? why not only a weapon. This akes the warriors too much expensive and dot let you balance the equipment vs number of warrios.

This is my unble opinion :S

I personally liked TC14 versus TC21.

TC21 is the "PF Types" right?
