What range is the lady from? What is she supposed to be? You've done an excellent job painting her, but the model isn't very dynamic. Your work on the base is much more interesting.

Considering the Girl is a Ghost, I suppose just standing there looking spooky is enough for her...I suppose.
She's a RAFM mini by Bob Murch of Pulp Figures fame I picked up many years ago, & just found her while rummaging through a box of Ancient Metal...I was the one doing the rummaging.

I hate it when my miniatures rummage on their own...

@V.K.: I agree about the rummaging minis. Mine also seem to migrate to places I'm sure I didn't put them...stranger than true.

Like the ghost lady, but perhaps she could look even more ghostly? Paler? Strange eyes?

As for the nondynamic thing: there is something very creepy about a strange lady just standing there watching you in the middle of a weird forest.

Great looking mini, reminds me of a teacher i had, really spooky indeed!

Thanks, folketsfiende! I find that kind commentary is both addictive & highly motivational...lately motivation is a necessity. SO taking the time to comment is appreciated.

The positive feedback I've gotten on how much better the minis look in a proper setting is pushing me to finish some of the large terrain boards I have underway. Hopefully within the next few weeks there will be a outpouring of photos in spooky surroundings...or not.

Is the little piece we see in your latest pic made from insulation board ? Carved with pencil and glued grass to it ?

The long neglected piece of terrain the well is sitting in front of is mostly insulation foam & balsa/bass wood. It's the building on the right in this photo:

As I threatened, the Failed Experiments (West Wind) are now completed AND are about to be inflicted upon you.

Failed experiments, but successfully painted! They look tired and angry, which I guess is not the best combo for company if you're planning a nice weekend retreat in the haunted forest...
