| AND NOW some photos of TRULY ASTOUNDING MEDIOCRITY. This little RAFM Spooky Lady is the harbinger of Things Gothic yet to come: Herself from several angles: Intimidating the local Flora: As always your kind commentary would be GREATLY appreciated...kind of. | |

| What range is the lady from? What is she supposed to be? You've done an excellent job painting her, but the model isn't very dynamic. Your work on the base is much more interesting. | |

| Thanks for the kind comments, V.K.! Considering the Girl is a Ghost, I suppose just standing there looking spooky is enough for her...I suppose. She's a RAFM mini by Bob Murch of Pulp Figures fame I picked up many years ago, & just found her while rummaging through a box of Ancient Metal...I was the one doing the rummaging. | |

| Hey, Firstly love the work. Keep it up. Secondly (And I apologise if someone has already asked this), There's a certain fountain with tentacles emerging from within on page 1 of the thread. Where did you get the mini for it? And is it still available. Looking forward to seeing more. | |

| Thanks, Robin; I'm glad you like my Little Horrors & took the time to say so...it is appreciated. The Reaper piece, The Well of Doom, has clawed it's way toward the top of the painting line...almost. It is still available, although getting a bit pricey. Here's a link to the Beasty on the Reaper site: http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/02634 @V.K.: I agree about the rummaging minis. Mine also seem to migrate to places I'm sure I didn't put them...stranger than true. | |

| Like the ghost lady, but perhaps she could look even more ghostly? Paler? Strange eyes?
As for the nondynamic thing: there is something very creepy about a strange lady just standing there watching you in the middle of a weird forest. | |

| I'm here, I just finished Reaper's Well of Doom, which I'll now inflict on you: A fine example of the dangers of drinking water; just look what it does to your shoes; AND who ever heard of someone contracting some hideous, intestinal disease from drinking the local beer. AND in it's natural, albeit unfinished, environment: Your commentary, as always, would be GREATLY appreciated. | |

| The tentacle extravaganza is fantastic, especially in its intended environment. Seriously good terrain! | |

| Thanks, folketsfiende! I find that kind commentary is both addictive & highly motivational...lately motivation is a necessity. SO taking the time to comment is appreciated. The positive feedback I've gotten on how much better the minis look in a proper setting is pushing me to finish some of the large terrain boards I have underway. Hopefully within the next few weeks there will be a outpouring of photos in spooky surroundings...or not. | |

| yes, we always like the spookiness you put in your works. Seems to come along naturally with all your works. The shiny slimy sheen on the latest addition really tops it off. Nice one ! Really would like to see some more of the terrain though. Is the little piece we see in your latest pic made from insulation board ? Carved with pencil and glued grass to it ? Show us more ! & keep up the good work ! cheers | |

| Thanks, pascal! Glad you like it; AND, yes, I am a naturally Spooky Old Man. The long neglected piece of terrain the well is sitting in front of is mostly insulation foam & balsa/bass wood. It's the building on the right in this photo:

| Failed experiments, but successfully painted! They look tired and angry, which I guess is not the best combo for company if you're planning a nice weekend retreat in the haunted forest... | |

| Thanks, folfetsfiende...that was a World Record Fast Reply...glad you like them. I thought they looked hung down, brung down, hung up, & all sorts of mean, nasty ugly things...mostly they don't want to be seen associating with each other. | |

| Thanks, JoaoS. I've really enjoyed the West Wind minis I've done thus far...I'm glad you like the results. Their Gothic Horror line & the Dwarf Wars minis are TERRIFIC & quite diverse. Their new Empire of the Dead look even better. | |
