Docks! update 22/3 2011

Some of mine and Bratzors terrain (mostly Bratzors). The docks are brand new and were christened with a game of Warhammer historical: Legends of the High Seas (my pirates were shot to pieces).

So cool!

This is very impressive - I want to see more photos!

The stone work almost took two entire days to make and no one wanted to help me with it! When it came to the painting they all lined up to help (that is the easy and fun part).

Also, the water looks way better on these photos than in real life. Got to do something about it.

Well it looks GREAT in the photos...SO you'll have to put up with the praise.
The Dock looks TERRIFIC, & I LOVE the thatch roof on that tower building. FINE WORK!

This is just the kind of thing I always want to make (as you may have guessed in the meantime, I have a soft spot for the nautical and piratey kind of matter ), and then find creative ways to procrastinate it...

Seriously though.. let's find some 2-part resin or floor varnish or something and remake that water board properly

Very nice. Now this is the kind of gaming tables I would love to have a game in..

We played a game today with Bratzors, FKSNs and my own terrain... and it was awesome! With so many building cluttering the board you could easily lose a model, which I did




We included the three finished modular dungeon pieces we have, and to make sure they were used we placed a wyrdstone shard in there. They were accessed through the various sewer entrances on the plateaus.



My dreadstone blight! Just finished it a few days ago, this was the first game in which it was used.


My mob of orcs. They have gotten some reinforcements since last time, though not all of them are finished. None of the shields are done, for example.

Shame I missed out on the action tonight. Your dreadstone blight turned out awesome, mate!

Rumours say there'll be some more terrain-building and mordheim-playing action next week around these parts. I'll make sure we take some more pictures then. Maybe if I get my ass in gear I'll have my orcs presentable by then. Bratzor should show off his kislevites as well.
