| Herro all, I'm not totally new to the forums but i've only just recently registered and decided to post my pics after my rl friend Bash did it with his ninja's. I'll start off with my WIP-undead warband, and a new project of mine, namely -> Chaos Dwarves So here they are: I will start off with the infamous Necromancer (known for his never succeeding magic but awesome bow-shooting skills!), here is Hugsy Second is my favourite hired sword off all, the witch, named Jakobine, after a friend's stepmother: Next up are my dregs: Second necromancer incase I will ever make a VC army Thats it with the undead warband, my new project are the chaos dwarves, some sneak peaks: (still WIP) And here is the model that started the chaos dwarves, a noble for a normal dwarf treasure hunter warband: | |

| Subject: update Sun 19 Jul 2009 - 15:12 | |
| Hello guys, thank you for the friendly reply's and my apology for not posting something for a long time. I have been busy searching a way to make my Chaos Dwarf warband cool the way i like it, and also practicing my sculpting skills. Anyway, here is a update: Here is my first of 5 Chaos Dwarf henchmen (maybe a Lad's Got Talent CD for he has á fat axe!; Big Hats ftw, HASHUT! On the armour i decided not to go with gloss varnish (like on the axe; pic to follow next), but I tried a diffrent technique. I painted all scales boltgun metal, then up to about 1/3 with a layer of chainmail, and then again up to about 1/4 with mithril silver. Hope you like the effect. Heres the axe with gloss varnish: Next up: 4 more henchman, which i hope to finish somewhere before wednesday: The working space where it all happens: To asp: I left my undead's at my friends place, who took off to Thailand for like a month, as soon as I he get's back you will get some more pictures on the 'dreg with the doll' (he was supposed to look a bit like a necro ) Sneap Peak: Later today I will try to post a picture with the other 4 sculpted with beards and hats on them, and I will post a picture of a Warehouse / Brewery I started to build (haven't decided what to make it ) Please leave comments and critisism so i can improve my painting (hopefully :> ) Much love, Malifact EDIT: Posted a wrong picture at the henchmen. | |

| Herro again, here is the promised update! Some schetch I quickly drew for a idea on the Hat-details: Here are some more WIP henchmen; these first 2 are all done accept for hat details: Here are some more I am working on but aren't quite done yet: About the Mordheim building, I decided to go with a warehouse, and I figured, a warehouse is a very valuable building, so it was probably located at a river for better infrastructure. So if that is so, when the comet hit Mordheim it would be one of the first things the people would save so I figured the top of the building would be burned down a little but the bottom would still be in tact, here is the first floor WIP: I'm not totally satisfied with this building because... I dont know, just don't My new Mordheim building will be... A ghastly mill :O (I will probably finish the warehouse because you know, Mordheim is only better with more buildings ) More here later Malifact EDIT: Some rephrases | |

| For whatever it's worth, I think your Warehouse is a FINE piece. If you are down on the project, put it aside for awhile. When you get back to it later on, you'll see it with a new perspective. Keep 'em coming! | |

| Now more on the dwarves: These are done modelling so tomorrow I will start painting them For those interested in how to make a face instead of a mask, here is a small, and frankly not very good toturial:) : First off, you scrape everything from the top of the nose down off, and if you want to give them a hat, you also cut off the top of his helm, it should look something like this: Step 2, you grab a little ball of greenstuff and you just push it up on its nose (I usually apply some glue on the nose before adding the greenstuff, I guess its just a habbit), when the GS is holding you grab a hobby knife (like I do) or a sculpting tool I guess and you cut in it to pull the greenstuff out a bit over the face, if you do this twice you should get the look that the nose is well attached (not like Michael Jackson). And when painted it give's some more detail to the model, personally i like the effect (you can check it on the model I posted earlier) Third you just make a little roll out of greenstuff (just as think as you want his fat underlip to be) and you glue it on. You might put on a bigger lip at first and cut it at your desired lenghts after, its a lot easier. When it has dried a little bit I search my bitbox for something that I can use as his teeth (I am to lazy to sculpt them ) and glue them on next to the lip. Last step, when that has dried a little bit, you make another roll, and do the same as in step 3, just make sure you also cover the teeth, this way it seems like they are indeed inside his mouth, and not on or next to it, and besides that it keeps the teeth better attached for if your model falls some time (I am a little clumbsy i think ) Would you be curious how to sculpt a beard or the armour, let me know, and I will make a toturial for that 2 - Malifact | |

Yes, please! The armour I think I get, but I'm not sure on the beard... I would probably do one 'sausage' at a time, with a pin to make the marks, but I don't think that's quite right.

Its a fairly easy technique I will make a toturial off as soon as I get time for it. For starters I am going away for the weekend with the misses so I doubt I will have it up before tuesday / wednesday. but after that I will surely tell you how! And once again thanks for the great reply's guys Malifact

| Nice to see you have finally started uploading some big pictures! - small pictures usually keeps me away from the thread, since I find it a bit annoying that I have to click on it, and then wait for the pop-out to load.. for every single picture T_T But it is indead some nice stuff you've got here! For the tutorial on the Chaos Dwarfs, there is already one on youtube... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lh1AKcwTAlU <- There u go.. It shows how to convert Battle For Skull Pass dwarfs into Choas dwarfs (with the armour and beard and all...) /Maikacir | |

| Chaos Dwarves!! I´ve always been a huge fan of chaos dwarves and I love the way you, followers of Hasut, convert and transform regular dwarves into their evil brothers. I really like your hats and the `old school´ feel of all your dwarves. | |
