Hiya, I am working on my Marienburger Warband, and also some random other miniatures. And i will post them here when they are finished.

So here are my first two!
A Knight of the blazing sun:



And my first Marienburger, it's a youngblood:

Nice start!

Try adding more layers to the model, though. Especially on the Youngblood's coat you can achieve great depth by adding lighter layers of red on the first one.

Please remember that this is the Mordheim gallery. Other fantasy works (including Warhammer) belong in the Fantasy section.

The base of the marienburger looks a bit odd, like the glue had melted to the base?
Otherwise really good looking figures! Nice to see some marienburgers around.

So what are you using as base for the marienburger, anyway? It looks pretty familiar to me. You see, I use thin sheets of soft-foam which I cut out to fit the base, carve something into (flagstones, wooden plank floor. Even a highway for my not-mordheim models), paint with PVA glue, then, when dry, I paint it.

Makes the base more stable, but the soft centre also makes it more resistant to damage. Is that the same as you are using?

Anyway, be that as it may, you still has some great models! I especially like the horses barding, which looks really awesome!

PRETTY COOL! The Young Blood is a bit on the wild eyed side...outlining the eyes & slightly enlarging the pupil would fix that nicely; a bit of highlighting would brighten the Lad up. Otherwise VERY NICELY DONE!

VERY NICE job on the skin shades...that may very well be the best piece you've done so far. WELL DONE!

He bro nice! lovely skinjob! Just a little idea... maybe you could pick a detail on a model and give it a little bit extra, you know like a bright colour or extra contrast or something... else they tend to get just blobs of colour. No offence they are pretty neat blobs of colour they just dont pop!

Ps you can borrow my "blood" to spice things up!

Guess you have to see it in Real Life to see the colors and details... also another Halfling is done... busy on my second Marienburger!

Ok here's another Hired Sword..... the dwarf treasure HUNTER

Now that you mentioned it...they did turned out nicely as did the skin color. There has been quite an improvement in your painting style since first you posted. CONGRATULATIONS on your development...good to see all that effort bear fruit.

I finaly got my hands on the Imperial Noble for Warhammer Quest!

Can't wait to start painting

I didn't... you want my second Noble??? Haven't received it yet... but it's in the mail

Great find! The Noble is one of my favorite models.

Also I didn't know the frenzied mob contained a drunk. That guy is perfect for a Last Orders scenario or Styro's Pressgang.
