Töter is lovely, especially the vials strapped to his back - nice!

I love those orcs - it's one of the most characterful greenskin warbands I've seen!

@DeafNala - The campaign starts today (first game in 4 hours!) so there should be battle reports flooding in next week.

@Mo! - I'm going to use the front half of Chaos Warhounds with some greenstuff work to make them more Squiggy.

I've taken a couple of shots of the whole warband so far.

Oh boy! What a hilarious warband. A beautifully crafted to boot!

OH BABY! I live for the Flame-On Battle Reports, which speaks volumes for the level of my social life .

The group shot is awesome. Seeing them altogether just makes them all the more impressive.

After a suggestion from Von Kurst that I should make a "Bound Witch" to represent the Warlock Hire Sword for this warband I have been looking around for a way of making one... This is the best I've come up with so far: Otto Von Bork, captured Wizard.

Squighound time!

I finally bought a box of Chaos Warhounds to turn into Squighounds by slicing off their hind-quarters and greenstuffing a tail on. The first "prototype" is done and I'm happy that they really don't need much more than that to look "Squiggy"!










I have also started work on a third Orc Big'Un - I know I can't have three but I like the idea (stolen from Pyyr) of switching between three different ones if I loose a Big'Un in battle.

Witch Hunter Mönch - still build-in-progress, I have to change the bullets into Holy Water vials.

ALL COOL THINGIES, the Squig Hound, however, ROCKS...looks GREAT & VERY in character. No offense intended, but the Warlock's skin could stand a bit of a wash & some transitional blending & highlighting...otherwise NICE WORK!

I see what you mean (the Warlock was painted in under a hour (over three sessions) as painting humans is sooooo boring!) I'll see what I can do.

The guy in the stocks is great. The hound is pretty freaking awesome.

Whenever I see those 40K boots I wish I remembered the old Iron Shod Boots item from the old TC.

I live the squighounds, very unique. I recomend adding a row of small spikes down the tail.

Wtf man your your a genius , im so jealous how come i didn't think of this before. There truly cool minis, the people who play with you are really lucky.

Pretty straightforward really: A mix of layering and washes. For Orc skin it's just layering in thin lines for everything else it's pretty much basecoat, wash, highlight.

Everything is painted quite carefully and any messy bits in the basecoat stage get tidied up before the wash stage.

I've been a bit allover the place this week but I have managed to finish the first two Squighounds. I chose a dark red/brown as I wanted them to fit in with the rest of the warband but still be a squiggy red.

PRETTY COOL STUFF! The Squig Hounds remind me of a couple of the Cryxx Beasties from War Machine. NICE WORK, Adm'rul!
