| Long time without posting any models. I have already posted Barbarian (Middenheimers), Marienburgers and Possesed. (And Catpeople, but they arent exactly Mordheim). I recently discovered these old pics laying somewhere inside my PC, so I introduce you my WITCH HUNTERS! Heroes These are from Vampire wars, DarkWorld (Priest plastic mini), GW and Reaper. Henchmen iirc, they're all from Vampire Wars Right now I don't have the camera, so the Flagellants will have to be posted later. Unfortunately I don't have ANY warhounds, and GW don't sell them except with the boxed WH set (cool, really, but I already have my gang), so if you have any suggestions about right size, menacing dogs that are reasonably priced, please tell me. As always yor opinios are more than welcome. Best wishes. | |

| Very cool looking warband! I've never seen the majority of those figures, they're pretty cool and definitely have the feel of a fanatical rabble lead by a few zealous witch hunters.
Who makes that figure in the second group, third from the left? The one with the blue pants and grey overcoat? He's really cool.

| Cool colour scheme mate. As for dogs, try to check REAPER out. Right size and affordable. | |

| To all of you, Tnx for your kind words and I'll try to post the flagellants asap. Those dogs indeed look good, Mithras. Are these figs retailed by someone in the US? I'm in Mexico and post rates from Europe can kill the budget. @Myntokk, Do you say the one with the pistol in the center of the second group? All the second group are Vampire Wars miniatures, this is a special character called Wolfen Jager http://www.westwindproductions.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=2_19&products_id=61And the rest are from Transilvanyan mob 3 iirc http://www.westwindproductions.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=2_19&products_id=37Vampire war minis aren't too popular, but imo they have VERY PRETTY miniatures, with soooo much character and with good poses. Besides, the level of detail IS ENOUGH for the mini to be a pleasure to paint and look good on the tabletop, BUT NOT TOO MUCH (as a lot of GW minis) to have detail over detail, over detail, (one extra chain and/or skull and the mini will look REALLY ridiculous) so that you NEVER feel like finishing them. Hope that helps. | |

| Hey Magokiron, The WarStore www.thewarstore.com carries Warlord minis. I checked & the Ancient Britons Mastiffs are not currently listed...must be a new release. The Celt War Hounds looked pretty good, although I'd wait for the Mastiffs myself. <td style="FONT-SIZE: 12px; FONT-FAMILY: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" vAlign=center align=middle width="70%"> COOL STUFF!Westwind makes some GREAT minis; I LOVE their Dwarf Wars Dwarves. | |

I checked the shipping costs of Warlord Games, they charge 20% of the total order for shipping to 'the rest of the world'. For ~$5,50 you get 5 metal dogs and the shipping would only be $1,10. Not too bad me thinks! (and no, I don't own shares with them )

| The Dog Handlers from the Vampire Wars range look pretty cool: They'd fit nicely with the other Vampire Wars minis in the War Band...I REALLY LOVE this stuff.

| As I said VAMPIRE WARS minis are a pleasure to paint, and has a very good "tabletop presence".
I own several Transilvanian mobs, the witch hunters (but not the dog handlers, silly me), the werewolves, the civilians (townpeople?), and HAD most of the brotherhood, but a friend saw them just when I finished paiting them, and liked them so much that I changed them for other minis.
But the asylum inmates, several vampires, the gypsies, etc. are ALL miniatures that I will buy and paint asap.
I Really recommend these range.
Best wishes. | |

| While not exactly "state of the art" minis, Westwinds stuff has a TREMENDOUS amount of character, AND, as you said, are a REAL PLEASURE to paint. I've done a fair number of their Dwarf Wars minis; in addition to being a JOY to work with, they are a snap to modify & clutter up with all sorts of paraphenalia. SO...I second the recommendation...for whatever that's worth . | |
