Andlast but not least...a dwarf...made as "freesculpting experiment", no artworks, no planning...just sculpting whatever comes to my mind:

GREAT STUFF! Both the Bull Centaur & the Dwarf are BEAUTIFUL,IMAGINATIVE pieces. Your flair for the Vertically Challenged & working on your own ideas give the Dwarf an edge in coolness. Keep up the FINE WORK!

Oh...i added details to the bull centaur but i've not a pic yet...maybe tomorrow.

Every additon adds carachter to this model,
overall the armour and helmet.

He is an ornery looking Dude...VERY in character for a Dwarf. The mailed fist is an impressive sculpt. WONDERFUL WORK!
What sort of weapon do you have in mind for him?

Just minor additions but...

The Bully Boy is progressing nicely. Your sculpted armor & the inclusion of that old Citadel shield are WONDERFUL. I hope you're going to make him a bull rather than leaving him as a steer if you catch my drift.

cool! the shield is kind of strange though, does it belong to the old chaos dwarfs? Looks a bit oppositional, the shield has a little funny touch of the old gw/citadel minis from the 90ties but the torso looks grim and dark

he´s great as he is, but to me , this shield, wich is great, but its too big in composion to the rest of the scale.
It catches too much the eye, and with a great mini as your bullcentaur, i think its no good. Well, again, only my humble point of few, but i hope i could help, floedebolle

@Bolbotos: Good question, i'm happy someone noticed this particular. It is from these marauder shields, dark elves. I used it to try to mix styles...some sort of chaotic-strange ideas i have sometimes. I'll add a couple more, do you see vertical straps?

@floedebolle: Yep, you're right too. I wanted it to be BIG...Maybe an enemy, in the middle of the battle, could think that is its face and try to hit it instead of its real head. Mh...something like a butterfly does with its wings:

...but in a strange and chaotic way.

PS:Don't give much importance to my strange explanations. I love reading your ideas about what i do...every time i become richer...plenty of ideas for me!

Thanks. Unluckly I don't know...I found it in my bits-box and used it to make this model. Sorry.

Great work with the green stuff and wonderful use of bits (including the shield, which I really like, despite its size).

I wish I had your skills to do this level of conversion.

Here's what a couple of friends of mine did:

One made the digital sculpt, then printed it...and casted some copies. The other one painted it...and...that's mine! ^_^



I made a base(the one on left side) that will be probably used for their boxart, much humbler work than theirs:

The bases are COOL & the Dwarf is MAGNIFICENT...both the WONDERFUL sculpt & the FANTASTIC paint job. I love the bare weapons arm...very nice, & different touch. WONDROUSLY WELL DONE!

Amazing paint job. Great work on those non-metallic metal painting and that skin tone, very appropriate for dwarfs. All sculptures are awesome!

Unlucly i have no comparison pics now...as soon as i'll have it in my hand i'll take a couple of them. BUT...i've heard that from the base to the top of the head it's 27mm high.
