Starting a progress thread on my dwarfs.
I stepped in to my local store and found these lovely mini's from GameZone. Fell in love right away.
so tossed my other puny little dwarfs away!

here's my first clansmen.





and need to write down some fluff why they can tolerate a greenskin when they hire this ogre.

can you guys come up with anything why there is a little greenskin with the dwarfs? please comment

VERY NICE! I CAN understand why you fell in love with that mini AND your paint job REALLY brings him to life WONDERFULLY! VERY WELL DONE!

With the Gnome, could be, in his elevated position, the Vertically Challlenged Grumps haven't noticed him OR, since Gnomes don't exist in the Unnamed World of War Hammer, they're denying his existence.

That Ogre is one mean looking dude.

my second Gamezone fig. this time i tried to leave the washes alone for the most part. On the other dwarf the beard became all shiny and glossy and that i dont want!
so my next try with a fancy base also.





so got another one that i need to finish! *runs to the pots with paints*

VERY IMPRESSIVE...I LOVE the face; VERY COOL base too! That is a REALLY GREAT paint job on a FINE mini...VERY, VERY WELL DONE!

If you don't want the beard to shine you could apply a matte vanish to the area.

Abhorsen950: Go and buy them! they are a joy to paint. But a little disclaimer, they are ALOT bigger then GW's minis.
i had a bunch of old dwarfs with spears and they look like puny baby dwarfs in comparison.

Hero: I will try that, but i think i overdid the washes and then its the freaking yellow. tried to paint some crimson fist also and totally messed up painting yellow. its not the easiest color to paint.
