Dwalthrim's smithy - my table and terrain

Hi guys,

In this topic I would present You my works. First I would show You our table which I made with my friend who hasn't enough time now to play (children, familly etc.) :









All scenery are modular, made from wood, cartoon, foamed polystyrene, sand, glue and other cheep things. We are supporting tournaments in Warsaw so our terrain must be strong and easy to transport. Some are made from hirst parts also.

And my last finished terrain, latrine:

cool table, i love the privy
i need to make a tabl, how did you make yours?????

Tabele was created by my friend few years ago. There are two parts of table top, every one is +/- 50" on 50" or something like that. The Peavment he made using soldering iron/tool and burning paving lines in styrodur (?).
I'll make on that tables small harbour and bridge

Some time ago I undertook to repair our club buildings from Mordheim basic set, which were in sorry state. Here are the results & wip's:

Painting and finishing this terrain soon in hands of Kpt. Hook & Lady Skavenblight.

Interesting what the right hands can do with the cardbord basic ruins. The chimney is cool and so is the skeletton on the wheel!

The improvements are DRAMATIC & the details are WONDERFULLY imaginative. GREAT WORK!   

AND, after a prolonged absence, it is GOOD see you're still at it!   

Great looking terrain, inspires me to try my hand at making something. The privy is fantastic.

Few days ago I finished remodel two more terrain pices of our club stocks, so I would present you this wips. As usual, all made ​​of cheap materials such as:

- cardboard
- polymer glue
- wood glue mixed with the sand or consumed coffee from the machine to brew coffee
- some styrofan
- wood
- bits and elements of terrain purchased on auction sites

Such a set of materials to ensure robust performance and long life in the club realities.
First is another cardboard building made from one and half bulding wchich was included to WFB basic box, this one whith Empire vs O&G:












Next one is the place of executions. I transformed this increase on the middle of the table between the well and the monument:



During the alterations I try to keep elements of the old models.
After my makeover new place of execution looks like this:










Painting for some time by Cpt. Hook & Skavenblight -  our club specialists of finishing works.

FANTASTIC WORK! The added texture is attractive & adds a feeling of depth to the card walls. The new pieces, especially the executioners square & all the WONDERFUL details are BEAUTIFULLY crafted & highly imaginative.   

Very gritty! Awesome work! I look forward to seeing the whole piece finished and painted!

For a variety of wip's I would present you a few of our club terrain pieces making by my and finished by Cpt. Hook und Skavenblight.

I like these a lot! I might steal the design of the abandoned chaos fort. Love the feel of it how you can come up with so many interesting narratives around it - for me the whole interest in terrain is exactly that: the sort of inspiration you can draw from it and all the stories you can imagine in there.

WONDERFUL WORK! Your collaboration with our talented Skavenblight has produced some OUTSTANDING pieces. I love the ruins & the rickety foot bridges are inspiring.    
The ruins of the Cathedral are equally LOVELY, well worth a prolonged visit.   

Those footbridges look great. The pieces of the fence on the sides are wonderful, why haven't I thought about that earlier too?

Oh, missed this one, absoltly awesome terrain work, love the bridges, lots of possibilty of gaming with those!

To day I have another two wips.
First one is a simple cardboard ruin referring to the style of our finished_club_buildings
I used cardboard, some wood pieces, wooden glue & sand:







Sturdy, simple and playable .

The second one is on of the buildings from "Blood on the streets" box - this smaller one. The building was converted to ruined wine warehouse:











This terrain was painted with black primer by my and now they wander into the hands of Skavenblight & Kpt. Hak as usual.  
In the near future I planned convert rest of the cardboard buildings from Mordheim main box & BotS.

Today I would present you my wip of city walls with gatehouse which made of three separate parts. City gate has a separate base of the towers.
I used two cardboards towers_from_Chronopia
On the pictures we have multiplayer game: Dwarfs & Ostland & Witch Hunters vs Possessd and Skaven horde.






The walls are full width of the table 48" .
At present they are already in the workshop of Cpt. Hak & Lady Skavenblight, as always .
