| As soon as I finish painting the house (1:1 scale) I've been been given the go ahead to build my gaming table. I want it to be modular, so I can swap out boards, and about 4'x6' total playing area.
I want to know from all of you what features you like, what you don't like, and what features you wish you had.
Also if you know of any tutorials (or want to wriute one) I'd be greatful!
Cheers! | |

| I have a million ideas for a board, I just haven't been able to compress them into an intelligent plan or design. But since you asked... I do have a "perfect board" in mind, yet I don't know exactly how to do it yet... I wish to have a 4-piece modular board (2 foot squares) that are more than just flat (maybe roads and sidewalks, and different types of pavement/stonework) but not have too much restricting placement of buildings. I saw a great map that had roads, but there were so many roads, you could only place 8 buildings, and they'd hae to bee in the same 8 places... BORING... There's my goal that I'm working towards. This is one page that brought me a lot of good ideas: http://www.terragenesis.co.uk/infopages/page260.htmlEnjoy, | |

| Well, I haven't had the chance to build my table yet. Still finishing off the 1:1 scale painting in the house. But I did find this table, and thought I would share it with you all. http://scryingchain.blogspot.com/Cheers! | |

| Hi, I started a topic last month at the specialist-games forum, which I haven't uploaded here yet. here's the link to my board. Advantage: it's cheap and easy to store Disadvantage: no higher grounds, watersides etc. these must be added by terrain pieces http://forum.specialist-games.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=15957 | |

| How in depth are you wanting to go? If its simple and quick then a table made up of 4-6 sections should be fine, 1-2 with canals 1 maybe 2 with a raised area and two totally flat would work. If its more I've a cunning plan for you _________________ | |
