Nice! I really like the little details: books, rubble, furniture,... !
When will you start painting? : )

Yeah me too, it gives a messy feel look.. (suprise) Razz

I think i will wait painting it until all buildings are done. Smile I always have loved unpainted terrain on the table.. it looks cool Razz

I have finished the table itself, i.e. the walls by the sewer systems and put tiles on the narrow walk next to the walls.

I just finished a very big smashed house (biggest so far, I think) with a comet crashed into it!
Also a cover/wall feature is done and ready. I found a cool way of making crates, which I really like using now Razz

Last I made a polystyrene "hill"/heap leaning up to a small ground level stash.

Next up is another mansion or an Inn, with chairs and tables, bartenders desk, guestrooms, etc etc Smile

Pics up soon

First... you ARE RIDICULOUS! You should stop building and start doing something else... I don't know... maybe some crochet.

Mordheim table in progress - Page 2 Cgoa029g

Now that I managed to vent my envy, here is the truth... WOW! I definitely envy the fact that you have the vision to plan the build with the CAD-wannabe. I can't conceptualize that way, and I would kill for a table like that. It is frustrating to see how you can pull it of with such magnificence.

Your work with the foam is flawless. I have worked with foam once, and I found the experience messy and almost impossible to do right. You my friend, are in a class by yourself! The work on the buildings is amazing! Love the 'speckles' of sand on the wall to texture it. Very original! The wood-work is prime... second to none. The 'Pringles' tower is super nice...

I simply can't wait to see your vision complete. I'm way sub-par on building terrain (I'm just a newbie on the topic) so there is nothing I can tell you... except that I found my new standard to follow. Once day, I will build a table like yours. Meanwhile, you keep posting as many pics as you can... and don't you dare to pick up crochet! Very Happy

Wow thanks Mordheimer. Im glad you like it so much Smile I can tell you that 80% of the buildings on the table are crochetted (sp?) Razz

I've made some more buildings and walls/obstacles as well as a small corn field (of course without any crops Razz)

It has been a while since I last visited your thread, and you have made some good progress!

Not the first to say it, but I really like the amount of detail you put into your buildings, with all the books lying arond, superb (I might have to steal your idea though)!

Keep up the good work!

Very cool architectural style! Looks like you paid a lot of attention to detail. I really like the Pringles dice tower idea.

Bit of threadomancy BBA? (just giving you a hard time)

I hadn't seen this thread before. The terrain and board look great. Any progress updates for us?

The style he builds his buildings in reminds me of your buildings, Boreas. Either one of you want to do a little tutorial on how you build yours? I really like how open and sturdy they are.
