And I know, my babes are quite dressed, sorry for the inconvenience CONGRATULATIONS! I've meant to ask you about that mini FOREVER. I think females look their sexiest when dressed suggestively rather than being totally naked...although naked HAS its attractions.

| way to go Deaf ! wish I could express myself that way in English ! lol ! hey, the dark sword one really IS gorgeous ! the fine limbs and cape remind me a bit of good old rackham (for me, Rackham's only drawback was when they started making pieces so tiny one could barely remove the mold line.) like the Maelyn from up above here ; I started assembling her, but the dragon is so fragile I will have a hard time finishing the assembling And once (if ever ...) she'll be painted, I won't dare to touch her ever again. Too bad ; she was meant to be a spell caster is warhammer quest or so .... seems like lots of people don't share our love for the women figs ... nevertheless, I'm starting to love this thread and look forward for any new photo's being posted ... ps) my avatar says she's starting to like your avatar as well here are a few others ; even found an old GW female elven wardancer and the welknown Helga like i said ; the paintjobs are mostly old, so don't hold it against me the unfinished elf is one of those 3 year old brush strokes .... the lady with cape & staff reminds me of Goldmoon from the Dragonlance books ... now I def gotta start working on those hybrid bases ! c ya | |

| Lanyssa, thanks for sharing ! keep 'em coming, especially the ones you painted yourself killing for tales of war ; surely you can get those easily enough through internet ???? I bought the ToW one I posted earlier from an english company freebooter, mike mcvey (GW housepainter way back) and privateer definately are among my favorite companies/people, just like that Jeremy Bonamant (Deaf, did you check him out yet ????) Lanyssa, tu le connais déjà je présume ? As for Alkemy ; I don't really like mini's with masks (can't tell why though, it's just my feeling). And I think Kraken is rather expensive, though they have some fantastic resin mini's | |

I found both the Hybrid game + Nemesis expansion for 25 euro ! Could leave that now could I ? the knights of hod (répurgateurs) are my first coming project ... what are you painting for the moment ?

any stuff you painted yourself ? Avoiding ANY mention of my Demonically Possessed Camera from HELL & the Images of ASTONDING MEDIOCRITY it produces...aren't you glad I didn't mention it, my method of posting pictures entails mailing the minis to volunteers who produce photos in exchange for the minis...the things I do to contribute. HOWEVER, you can find some of the pieces I did on commission here: http://www.edion.desertyeti.com/gallery.html . I'm not sure who that Old Man sitting at my painting tabe is .

| Damn Deaf ! you're one of the artists as well ! makes me blush posting pictures here ! too bad I couldn't make the pictures larger ; there's much I'd like to see in detail your witchhunters are much more colourful than mine i went for the standard grim/dark GW style well, your style as a whole is much more vibrant than mine I think makes me wanna do my best even harder now ! you even got some of those Hybrid game figures (orc maulers etc) that i'm planning shortly there's so much to see ; I'll need to watch it again and again, but on first site, Moxirth the Mad atop the Grandal Device is def one of my fav's ! top notch ! some pretty neat conversions as well so your age is true ; i was wondering about that. Whether you just filled in a crazy date or not. This gives me hope ! This means I can still be painting as well within twenty years or so. You just made my day ! I needed that ; just got two more job rejections today ... as for the camera ; I only have a rather plain digital little one works ok, but for the mini's the result always seem less good than the mini in real (or maybe that's just wishful thinking ...) hey, I'd love to see more of your work man ! so, don't hesitate to post more links if you have 'em thanks for sharing ! | |

| Sorry I took your thread off topic; however, I'm glad you liked the minis. They were done for Justin's highly imaginative D & D Campaign, The Shards of Tharlion. Roughly a quarter of the minis I did are represented in the photos. The Grandal Device is a magical construct which is the stump of a HUGE oak tree encrusted with gem like shards; it is supposed to rejuvenate the Elven folk. Due to some miscalculations it, instead, creates Drow. The model occupies an 18" square board with the Device & Body Snatcher-like birthing pods completely covering the board. The Wizard in the photo is standing on the "control platform" which over looks the device. You may ONLY have reached the half way point of your creative life; i.e., one of my erstwhile gaming acquaintences is going strong & better with each passing year at 85. Having been raised, after a fashion, by my Grandpa & my Great Uncle Gus, my life's ambition has always been to be a CRAZY OLD MAN; I'm happy to report I have achieved this lofty goal. Don't let the job hunt get to you. It has been my experience that good things come out of bad situations...keep the Faith, Baby. Later, I'll hunt out threads to some of my Horrors that are hiding around the Forum for your entertainment & edification. | |

| OH COOL! You've got some of my Old Friends in that group...a few RAFM minis & some Ral Partha aka Iron Wind. I have the Slave Girl Group & the larger Limited Edition Slave Auction...I did one set of each for a friend & have another yet to be painted somewhere in The Vault. You did a FINE job on them all, especially the Slave Babe, the Chick with the Halberd, & the Babe on the bottom, which is the only on I can't place. VERY WELL DONE! | |

| hi guys, Deafnala, what does off topic mean ? (sorry I'm a dummy) I can't see a difference ? Same section, I can still post ... ? Yes ! I almost bought that Kalee from Hasslefree, but again ... I already had passed a certain budget, so finally didn't. But I sure do like her. There's a second version of her as well ; think where the axe comes alive or something like that ... The last one of me is a Maiden from the Chronopia game. Check it out : http://images.google.be/imgres?imgurl=http://www.chronopiaworld.com/img/galerie/wettbewerb/maiden_paolo_side2.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.chronopiaworld.com/artikel.php?id=59&usg=__77moMIEQR0jWuhEQuzwsPZelZL4=&h=700&w=400&sz=27&hl=nl&start=22&tbnid=c6Dd93_qgZNRLM:&tbnh=140&tbnw=80&prev=/images?q=chronopia&gbv=2&ndsp=18&hl=nl&safe=off&sa=N&start=18Lots of well known painters all paint the same mini. I don't know whether you're a crazy old man or not, but I would love to have a beer & a chat with you and your pall ! So if you ever pass in this little country of mine, drop a line ! I really like your mini's and your replies. It feels good to have a laugh once in a while. I remember the slave auction from long ago, but again didn't buy it. Can't quite remember if I liked the women or not ... Is the slave girl group from the same mini's ? I've been looking for some female slaves (to combine with Sophet Drahas from Rackham) ; I liked the 40K Eldar slaves, but GW replied to my mail that they didn't sell parts anymore ... bummer. So now I think to use the Rackham girl that lifts her dress and where demons come out. (mmmm ... then I could maybe use the freebooter sorceres instead ...) The drowpirate is very well painted, but a bit less my style. (is that her ears supporting her hat ???) Hey Lanissa, thanks a zillion man ! I don't know this Asmodée éditions ! I HAVE TO check those out ! I really dig the ones above and beneath Sara Zingaresce ; the succubus (never was able to buy Succubus 2 from Rackham ; always was sold out or too expensive ...) and the one beneath Assalia. The cantinière would be great as a youngster for the Sisters of Sigmar ! LOL !! I found their website (didn't know they were french !!), but apparently they don't sell the mini's. Where do you buy them ? Great pics ! Thanks a lot & keep 'em coming ! | |

By "off topic" I meant I had departed from the subject of Babes in miniature, but it's YOUR thread SO we can talk about anything you'd like. The BIG Slave Auction all the various Slave Girls are TOTALLY naked, otherwise they're just like the one you painted up. Like all Ral Partha, they're "true" 25mm minis, which means they're smaller than everyone else's stuff. I believe those are her ears. We DO seem to be kindred spirits...you have my condolences . Getting together would be a blast; we MIGHT even survive the experience. AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
