| After my lurking in the female figures thread I got inspired to make a witch hunter war band. Female piratesd has been done so many times, dwarfs would be fun since reaper has so many cool dwarf female figures but I don't like dwarfs and we actually don't have any ready human warbands yet, I am doing my sisters but they are not done, I have my possessed that is almost ready and my partner has his undead... So I was thinking witch hunters: Witch hunter captain (1)Lonnia, Female Duelist Change the sword that she holds out into a pistol. Maybe make her a hatWitch hunters (3)Shaedra, Paladin A hat would be great but I love this modelVandora Waverunner, Female Pirate Modify the hat so that it fits a witch hunter a little better. A feather in the hat would be great. Maybe change the weaponSora Goldflame The Pain! The suffering! Look at her face, it is so great, so much expression... I don't like the shield but it isn't possible to look at the front of the shield and I might change it for another or take it away and give her a torchWarrior Priest (1)Olivia, Female Priestess I just love her Flagellants (5)Ishara Snowflinch, Female Druid Female Viking Warrior (1) I want to change her sword for a flailElori Ebonscythe Warhounds (5)Celt Warhound Pack (4) Garr, War Dog Alpha (1) zealotsMerryn Elmshadow, Elven Female Thief Therese, Female Thief Aisha, Female Warrior So please tell me what you think? Is there any other figures that would fit into this warband or is there figures that I have added that you don't think fit at all... I would want a couple of more zealots and flagellants but I am thinking that I might be able to convert oen or two flagellants from the flaggelant sprue. The only problem is that I can't find female heads anywhere exept for loose amazon heads but they have masks that I don't like... Do you know where to find female heads??

| COOL IDEA! I ALSO have been thinking of a female Witch/Vampire Hunter War Band...despite this, it's still a good idea . The Reaper Warlord range has quite a few appropriate minis as does the Dark Heaven Legends...just have to scan through 1,400+ minis to find them. I posted some I found in the Female Minis thread. GOOD LUCK with the project! | |

| Terrific Trulsa !! I love the witchhunters, and as you might have guessed, am rather fond about female miniatures. So I would really, really like to see this concept of yours come to life, painted and all ! Please post pictures. As to my personal opinion about your figures ; take it for what it's worth ; you decide what you like best. Your first 5 figures seem excellent ! (and I'm jealous about them) For the zealots and flagellants, I think the main challenge lays in altering their expressions. I like the crazy dehinged, driven half mad figures of the GW set. Maybe that will be hard to find in the female miniature department. But I'm sure that you will be able to alter the mini's you showed above with some green stuff and a dab of paint just enough, so that they will get that "dangerous" and "crazy" look. Merryn Elmshadow could do okay with just some minor conversion. (away pointy ears, welcome some scars)Elori Ebonscythe is great.Female Viking Warrior also seems good. The celtic warhounds are less to my liking ; they are "too nice" looking. I recently bought a doghandler from Rackham for nearly nothing ; and comes with 3 dogs. (hold on, I'll browse for a picture) found it ; dog handler costs 4 euro also found some others you might like : from Rackham : reaper : if you're in need of another witchhunter ; freebooter : | |

| Haha Those dogs were my first choise but as it is now, those figures will cost me about 700 swedish crowns alone. That is about the same price that 12 witchhunters go for at GW's homepage (if you want to compare prices) I LOVE the two bulldogs, they are so great and I will buy them next time for my witchhunters. But for now I felt that I have to have enough dogs to fill up my warband, if I want to. And I agree that they look to kind but I might me able to do something about it... maybe I also looked at the doghandler and his dogs but here it costs 84 swedish crowns, wich should be about 8 euro and that is to much right now (The tro guard dogs are 129:- = 13 euro) Another thing is that I can't decide. the top whitch hunter and the captain are equally good for captain in my eyes... Who should I choose... And the last problem... Did anyone know if there are any female heads out there??? | |

| Trulsa, Another thing is that I can't decide. the top whitch hunter and the captain are equally good for captain in my eyes... Who should I choose... we could hold a poll, but that's really for you to decide ! You're the one who's going to be gaming with them. My personal taste would be : Lonnia, Female Duelist but hey, who am I ... just a guy from Belgium .. as for freebooter ; yep, there not cheap ... but have great figs just like Nala said as for loose heads ; I don't have a clue ; you'll have to score the net this is what I found : hasslefree female heads 28 mm hfl104 female elf heads here the females are sold out, and only drawings ??? http://www.amazonminiatures.com/catalogue/index5.asp?rName=Heads this company seems to have a lot of female stuff (incl heads), but I couldn't find pics right away http://www.miniaturesatlas.com/default.aspx?cmd=summary&p0=company%7C14 have fun ! | |

| hahaha ! I love you guys ! really do ! à Trulsa : do you buy those mini's directly in the usa or somewhere in europe ? I like the one in green stuff I think. But I don't really like attached bases. Are all these reaper mini's ? à Nala : I'm happy with your pictures ! Send 'em to my thread ! Why can't I paint like that Derek character ?!! (I'll try to update the witchhunter thread tomorrow. Was working on the 3 faces the whole afternoon, but screwed up one. (probably due to bad undercoat) Nice mini too ! And $ 5 a piece is a reasonable price I think. | |

| defnala, I didn't say that you should stop posting those pictures, just that I think I have to post what I have looked at so that I don't say all the time: I already looked at that one And thank you dedgob, I agree totally with you and I will convert most of them in one way or another. There will be chains and flails and torches, I promise Pascal, I am ordering from www.gamemaniacs.se They offer 10% off on your total order if you buy for a certain amount of money and gives you free shipment. So we are 8 persons that are ordering together now and we will end up somewhere around 800 euro Not all pieces are reaper but I think many of them are... I haven't checked exactly what they are since I just searched in their catalog for female characters and they don't show which company that makes the figures when searching for figures. In sweden there are no stores that sells reaper or anything else. The only thing they sell is GW... So we have to buy all our figures online... I am like a child in a candystore | |

| I like your selection of minis a lot, with the flagellants as the only exception. The figures are nice enough, but just don't look the part of a flagellant to me. I see them as having tattered robes and simple clothing, uncivilized but not to the point of looking barbarian. Unfortunately I don't really have any ready-made solutions, maybe converting WH40K Sisters Repentia would work though?
If you did decide to do that, the Mistress would make an excellent model for a converted Sisters matriarch, too!

| 'Then I guess that we will have different opinions on that The more I look at my flaggellants the more I like them. I can see them before my eyes, converted and painted and I am so sure that they will be great And the more I look at the sister repentia (Especially the leader) the more I dislike them... I can't really see them in the warband... (Plus how silly wouldn't it feel to suddenly have just a couple of platsic figures among my massive metal range, it is something about metal that I just love) | |

(Plus how silly wouldn't it feel to suddenly have just a couple of platsic figures among my massive metal range, it is something about metal that I just love) If you like what you've got, run with it! I definitely didn't mean to be telling you what you should do, just my point of view. And you have a good point there, the Sisters Repentia probably wouldn't fit your aesthetic too well, they're just more of less what comes to mind when I think of a female flagellant. I'm psyched to see the converted warband, looks like quite a project! (Sidenote: are Sisters Repentia really plastic? I had assumed they were metal, but I don't play sisters so I don't know. They're awfully pricey for a plastic set, if that's the case, yikes!)

| the repentia's are def metal ! i scored a couple on ebay, including the flaming head mother superior i was planning on using the repentia's for my possessed warband though since I'm way back on the rules & stuff, can anybody give me an idea as to which weapons I give best to the repentia's/possessed please ? (I will probably convert them before planning the warband ; stupid, I know, but I already gave one a mace and an undercoat. So, I'm open to all your possessed playing suggestions !) Myntokk, since possessed are your prime band ; all suggestions welcome ! (I only started playing mordheim this summer, so I'm more of a noob !!) | |

| Myntokk, I searched for pictures on them and just thought they looked plastic earlier today so you are right... me and my partner had a long discussion about it and he proved me wrong pascal, What are you gonna use them as in your possessed warband? As possessed? I did the same, converted long before planning my warband (you can look in my possessed thread ) But we don't do the "you get what you see" since it is almost impossible to make cool figures if doing that and I make my figures from what I think is cool, not what I will do woth them later... I like flashy, fancy weapons But that is only me | |

| hiya, possessed ? No, I was more thinking simple brethren. I already saw your thread ; the conversed possessed with boarbody is awesome ! Both conversionwise and colourchoosing/painting. I know what you mean, but I try to find the way in between ; make the figures "look good", but still try to have them have the weapons they represent ... | |

| I think that you can't afford to much weapons for your brethren, so they will end up with clubs/maces in the end... So that is what I equipped mine with I have painted my last beastman today to so I will show it off some day | |
