I have 20+ molds, and I don't really want to think about what I payed for them I have them for about three or four years now, so they weren't purchased for this specific project...

The statues are from the Citadel Chapel (plastic warhammer scenery kit). I've used 12 of these statues in total. There are only four in each kit, so I made my mates buy those kits to contribute to the project

It works great! When half of the table was finished, we started playing. We encountered some minor problems, all of which I've adressed so far... The only thing it really needs are some bridges connecting the various buildings. The game is too vertical, if you know what I mean. Not that I am in any kind of hurry, my Reiklanders are having a great time!

No problem! I'll get you a picture, but that will be tomorrow, as I left my camera at school... The pieces of balsa I use to support the floors are glued against the grain of the wood to prevent warping. The balsa sheets I use for the floors is 2 mm thick, so it needs the support, especially on the wider floors. The supports are glued at the edges of the floors, this makes more surface available for glueing...

In one of the pics below you should be able to see a little of the construction...

As I said, a post without pictures is a wasted post...

VERY MORDHEIMY! I LOVE the balconeys; AND the woodwork IS quite EXCEPTIONAL. There are some interesting angles to the beasty which REALLY make the piece for moi. VERY WELL DONE!

We have a couple Guys from Belgium. Scroll up two spots from your post & meet pascal the rascal, Fellow Belgian...AND a FINE Fellow he IS.

I really like those buildings. Would love to play on in sometime. Love heights... Marienburgers shoot pretty good. But guess my brother would have a hard time on the board (possesed). Might wanna pick up some sculpting skills when i see this!

Thank you for all your feedback, it does a man good to read so many kind words...

The last couple of weeks have been a busy period (work related) but I've not been idle on the hobby front either.

I've finished (well, sort of, it's not painted yet) one of my buildings. I've fitted it with shutters and a door as can be seen on the picture below...



I really liked the result, but then someone mentioned those shutters should be able to move (I had thought of that too, but figured it wouldn't be worth the effort), which meant that I had to make some adaptations.

Luckily I had some plastic tubing lying around and as it turned out, it IS worth the effort and it isn't even that hard.

It offers a lot of options while playing Mordheim and even more for WFRP (our secondary game), now we can even pull some stupid knock knock jokes...

Furthermore, it looks good! You don't have to take my word for it, I have pics!

The only 'downside' to this all is that I have to do this for all my buildis, poor me...

This building is almost ready for paint, just a little more detail and textured paint will do the trick...

The attention to details is INCREDIBLE! You REALLY have raised the bar for us all. I LOVE the pegs in the woodwork, AND the working shutters & doors are TERRIFIC. VERY IMPRESSIVE WORK!

They are looking even better then before!

Well the good thing about Mordheim is that is a city full of ruins! Some of the houses must have lost their doors and shutters, and some of them must been blown out of their hinges

HOLY SH--!!! That is incredibly awesome!

This piece is abnormally well done! I hope you can manage to maintain this detail for the rest of your buildings. It sure will be challenge for your motivation and patience. I keep my fingers crossed (because I want to see even more!). But for now, I will be happy to see this beauty painted up.

3.2mm styrene tube + 1.5mm round styrene rod is my guess. But these seem smaller...
