| What would be a good preferably plastic model for a ghoul hero? Or what could I greenstuff on to a ghoul body to make him heroic ? | |

| The new Crypt Ghouls are pretty bad ass to begin with. You could try a hand swap if he got Weapon Expert to have access to weapons. | |

| Fur on the shoulders is a pretty standard symbol for heroes, either as a cloak or just something gross. A crown of bones or some other bones stuff? Green stuff him to look bigger, or just have a more awesome pose than the rest? Maybe have him the only "upright" ghoul of the bunch. | |

| The Crypt Ghouls are one of GW's more impressive new releases...nice starting point for some kit bashing/converting. For a Ghoul hero some bits of armor & more muscular arms might suggest his/its new status; the Catachan or Orc arms might work. The fur cape sounds good too. Alternatively you could use a Strigoi Vampire mini for an Uberpowerful Ghoul...they ARE, afterall, called "Ghoul Kings". | |

| Not plastic, but what about Heresy's 'who ate all the pies?' ghoul? Looks like the lad's got talent to me. For eating and beating enemies to death, if nothing else. | |

Yeah, it's a gorgeous kit. You could mount on a more spectacular base, arm him with a larger bone, give him some decoration. Fur is a great idea--and taking that idea further, flayed skin would be cool too (a face peeled off a corpse and worn as a mask would be fun). Think about things that a ghoul might like to show his superiority to other ghouls, what are good ghoul trophies?

| If you want some kit bashing you could steal some bits from the deamon sprues to make the hero taller and such. Even old zombie arms will be bigger/beafier than the new ghoul sprue's.
For a cloak you could also steal an idea from the Beasts and re-create Morghur's Skull Weave in plastic...

Remember that's a house rule. As established here and in other places ghouls can use no equipment of any kind. Weapon's expert does not grant a ghoul the ability to take equipment. Though I know several groups do allow this.

| My group allow it but I don't like the thought of it so I went for strength and speed If I get another I might have one at the moment though ones a pitfighter and ones T5 | |

| These are all great ideas, but don't forget that the Crypt Ghoul box comes with a rank leader model. It is bigger and more muscular than the others. note the dark guy in the middle |
