Ghoul Hero for Undead Warband

Hi, folks. I just finished a new Ghoul Hero for my Undead. He was made from a GW Ghoul King from the new Terrorgheist kit.

@DeafNala: Thanks. It's a nice model and will make the Hero stand out from the regular Ghouls.

Very cool! I might have used a bit more "natural" colours since ghouls are living and not undead creatures. But very good none the less

Hi, Alex. Thanks. I used some Heroscape Ghouls which are pre-paints initially for my Ghouls. They are already green. Being lazy, I just gave them a black wash and rebased them. I kept the new hero green just to keep him similar to the Heroscape Ghouls. Though I do agree it would be more in keeping with the Ghoul backstory to have painted him in flesh tones. But then I would have had to repaint the other Ghouls. I'm a little too lazy for that.

well hard work may pay off in the long run but lazyness always pays off right now. those are some crazy looking ghouls do you use the vanilla list or mod?

Anybody remember when GW ghouls were orange?

@Alex: LOL. Vanilla so far. I'm playing the "Living Undead" option from the Mordheimer tactics list. Next I want to try the "Shambling Horde".

@Utu: I don't remember ever seeing the Orange Ghouls. Sounds pretty old school.

Even considering that they're pre-painted minis they look COOL...it's probably the bases that give them the added oink. NICE STUFF in a nasty sort of way.
