| Hey, I'm new to the forum and wanted to introduce my current work in progress. I was watching the 13th warrior (my favorite movie) and thought i should build a middenheim warband based on it. It was too hard to make them exact, but the warband only had 13 guys and each is "inspired" by the movie character. Each model is a custom build using about 5 different sets. They are only at the wash stage, so they aren't detailed yet, but I'll keep you all posted. Nice to be here.     | |

| Great movie. I love the Norse theme of anything. Strong, brutish warriors, who live by a certain code of honor, even though the 'civilized' world considers them barbaric.
Awesome job so far on the warband! Ready to see them detailed up and hackin' away at some dirt Gobbo flesh *looks around for Deaf*

Thanks for all the comments. The heads are from a combination of Chaos Maruders and the Empire Men at arms. a few heads had greenstuff hair and beards put on, along with the Maruders' horns and spikes cut off. | |
