No I'm pretty good at singing country, although I don't do it so much

| For some reason it always surprises me how many hobby gamers are metalheads. For me, my "painting soundtrack" just means putting my itunes on shuffle and then skipping songs until something pops up that I'm in the mood for. My music tastes are pretty broad and eclectic, so it really depends on what I feel like at the time. Anything's fair game, really. Ska, old punk, reggae, surf rock, soundtracks, indie/folksy stuff, swing, hair bands, rock'n'roll, alternative, jam bands, a bit of classical, a bit of hip hop, a bit of techno, on and on really. I also really like modern rock/punk that incorporates some more traditional styles from various cultures, such as Flogging Molly, Off Kilter, Gogol Bordello, etc. - dwi wrote:

| I can do some Johnny Cash, but that's about it for country. My iPod leans heavily on alternative, but I have stuff from just about every genre on it.
I'm really into Radiohead, Jack Johnson, Tool, Jimi Hendrix, Depeche Mode, Ben Harper, Metric, Beatles, Led Zep, Tori Amos, Rush, but I could go on forever.

| Johnny cash might be the only country musician I actually like.. he rocks. But I'm mostly into Heavy Metal and classic hard rock derivatives and a bit of alternative.
Led zeppelin, pink floyd, ozzy, Iron Butterfly, Rare earth, AC/DC.. Sepultura, Pantera, Metallica, Slayer, Dragon Force, Megadeth.. Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Eric johnson, and some other asian guitar virtuous.. Nightwish, Haggard, Therion, Sonata Arctica, Apocaliptica, Kamelot.. Nirvana, Foo Fighters, The mars volta, Muse, Audioslave, Rage Against the machine,
oh well.. and many more..

| War(hammer) and Metal *ahhhhh* how they go beautifully hand in hand. With all the deep wounds, scalpel stabs, blood and stupid modelling accidents, it's no wonder we all crave the brutal inspiring lyrics of the metal genre. Recently it's been Doro, Doro, and more Doro for painting. *drools over the goddess of metal* Other than that, usually a big shuffle mix of everything.. turisas, children of bodom, amon amarth, nightwish, nirvana, metallica, dimmu borgir, GnR, Pantera.... well basically just look at your own collection and it's probably a mix of that, then a little classic trance nation, lady gaga, michael jackson, and a bunch of cheesy one hit wonders... go on, admit you have them too | |
