Have you heard of the band called "Presidents of the United States of America"?
Have you heard of Weird Al?

I ask because I'm curious how far those groups have gotten overseas =]

I think it's absolutely hilarious, and the song rocks. (PUSA came out with a new album a couple months back I guess.)

Although I think some of the songs that you find on the internet are just tagged with his name although he did not make them, just so the files are found/listened to by people entering "weird al" as search tems.

Like "Internet Sandman" and "Livin la vida Yoda", I am not sure if those 2 tracks in particular are "fakes" but I know that some of the best parody songs are not actually by Al himself... oh well.

"The Night Santa Went Crazy" is excellent for example.

Oh, I know PUSA and I really like them. A couple of years back, they were one of my favourite bands. I listened to some of their music just recently.

I don't think they are very well known in Europe... don't even know where I found out about them.
