| Wow!, that is pretty sweet. Kind of a regression though for us hobbyists. No more need for 3d landscapes. Draw a 2d map and away you go I can forsee some pretty cool D&D themes for the old pen and paper style gamers (like me) with that technology | |

| Personally, even though it is really cool from the technical point of view, I wonder why everyone is so keen on running around when playing computer games nowadays. would feel rather weird if I'd walk around my living room and jump up and down in front of the TV. Nonetheless, not bad. But not as cool as tabletop gaming | |

Nonetheless, not bad. But not as cool as tabletop gaming I agree! Table top war games involve painting, modeling, making terrain, in other words, being creative. While the technical aspects of the game are both innovative & imaginative, the game from a players perspective is TOTALLY devoid of any creativity.

Nonetheless, not bad. But not as cool as tabletop gaming Thanks, Eliazar! This is in fact not a new way to play tabletop - it's a new way to kill tabletop. Seriously, figures on a screen to replace actual miniatures? This is not tabletop. It's an exhausting version of computer gaming. An excuse for fat little kids to lazy and uncreative to paint and convert. This is not a hobby. The technology seems cool and interesting, but I find it useless nonetheless (yet!). I think trying to force this technology on an existing gameplay (wargaming) is a bad idea... Well, they are not really doing it anyways. Someone needs to come up with a creative way of making good use of this system so that an entirely new gaming experience can be created... That's the challenge... Maybe implementing this in glasses would work better so that you can do something with your hands and watch the (digital) effects evolve at the same time.

| Interesting but not for me. The graphics will be there some day. I do see in the future that games will be more "mental" or using your mind to move figures around. Remember in the first Star Wars movie when R2D2 and Chewbacca are playing the digital "chess" game? I could see that happening down the road, but a long time. | |
