Smile's Norse warband

Hi, I'am the new one. And this is my Norse Warband. What do you think about them?



Thorgest the red, Bafur and Ulfert

The tow Bondi Haltaf and Skeld and Hrungnir

The tow wolfes Hati and Skol

At last the Shamen Haldor and the tow Hunters Arond and Herger.






















Re-uploaded the pics one by one. Phew! Next time, please use the upload function. Unfortunately it is not enough to just put [img] tags on the adress, you also need to wrap the whole thing with [url] tags and provide a URL where the pics can be found (hosted). That's why the easiest thing is to download them to your desktop an then upload them from there onto this forum with the "Host an image" button. This will give you a simple copy/paste link.

That is not entirely true. What you need to do is wrap the IMG tags around an url that leads directly to an image (something like: "http:// ... .jpg"). You do not need the URL tags (that's just links) and in fact I just removed the links from Tom above so you can easily see how it works. I suggest you clean this post up a little, delete your original links and use the new ones, keep your headers for the pics and finally delete the Admin/Mod comments to make this all fine and shiny again.

The War Band IS Ubercool. I REALLY like the Werewolf, Wolves, & Druid Guy, not necessarily in that order . They ARE all beautifully done, VERY in character minis. VERY WELL DONE!

That is indeed a very very nice warband. Probably the best example of the Lustrian Norse warband I have seen so far. Excellent work!

I love specially the skin and hair of your guys.
In fact, I think you can improve the eyes of some minis, they're a bit round: if you do one line upper the eye and other down the eye it will be GREAT and you'll avoid "Scary faces".

I'am sorry becouse of the uploadproblem SORRY.
I will try your tip withe the eyes REKONE. I have played them last year but unpainted. Next week is the first game withe the empires in flames setting. And now I have to paint a Chaoswarband for an other gamegroupe.

Great use of Ratskin Braves as Bondsmen. I also used Necromunda models to make my Bondsmen, although I went for Goliath Juves as I had some spare.

Are the 2 Huntsmen converted from Bloodbowl Norse Catchers? The pose seems to fit well.

This is a totally excellent warband. Bang up job sir! I agree wholeheartedly with your choosing the Blood Bowl Norse (wonderfully sculpted by Gary Morley) as a basis for your conversions. Removing the wings from the helmets is laborious but ultimately worth it.

Which wolf models did you use? I like their character.

I don't recognise the Vitki either. He is a really appropriate model for the Shaman.

@ werekin the wolfes are old modles from Hobby products. Sadly HP stoped the prodtuction of all miniatures.
