Hey, as I said, I only play a game for a few hours! If I bought them this would cost about £15 an hour.

No, it was originally a PS2 game, that is now available on PSP and will be coming to the Wii soon. There IS actually a Monster Hunter MMO, but it's only available in Japan. It's incredibly popular in Japan. They are just now finally starting to advertise it here in the US, even though they've already brought like 3 or 4 of the games here.

The next game in the series is Monster Hunter Freedom Unite for PSP, available June 23rd in the US. Monster Hunter 3 (Tri) is available in Japan on August 1st.

Basically, you (and up to 3 friends) grab massive weapons and go out on missions to kill incredibly large monsters (usually dragons, but also a few other random things). You can then carve up those monsters to craft new weapons and armor. You work your way up killing bigger and harder monsters along the way. It's a TON of fun.

I love Monster Hunter, it's fun solo but even better with friends that PLAY!!! thank god for WiFi Max, cause Svenn does not play enough!!

Unite should be good, and im looking forward to Tri as well... and Diablo Tri whenever it decides to come out...

I believe I have Monster Hunter for my PSP. Played it waaaay long ago. Go off hunting dinosaurs or something, cutting them up for meat right? Yeah - I should try it again sometime... The one for the Wii, is it the same game or a new version?

The Wii one is going to be the third game in the series. It is adding a ton of new monsters, new environments (underwater fighting!), new armor/weapons, and who knows what else. It's coming out in Japan on August 1st, but beyond that no one knows what other territories it will make it to. They're finally trying to push the brand worldwide now though, so hopefully everyone should get it.

Which version do you have on your PSP Ethlorien? Monster Hunter Freedom or Monster Hunter Freedom 2? Tewfik and I have both (though we only play 2 now). Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is coming out in about a month and is a sort of sequel/expansion to 2 with more monsters, weapons, increased hunter rank, and the ability to take felyne companions into battles with you. You can actually keep your character from 2 and continue on.

I play on Kai alot, the missions ive gotten to require more than one person and Svenn is always busy

Oh, I'm not even sure now. Hmm... I'll have to check. I think one of my sisters has my PSP right now - lent it to her when I finished God of War for the PSP. Hopefully she still has it with all my games. I'll check. Like I said, I didn't play the game much - but the idea was cool.

I mostly play on my N64 and SNES.
Me and my gal is currently hacking through the Zelda series.

I dont play games even half as much as i used to about half a year ago, recently I've just been hanging around with friends or listening/playing music. I have really let my painting slip .

Still i have been playing a lot of retro PS1 games. I just LOVE THEM!!! Crash Bandicoot 1 and 3 i have completed recently, awesome games, crash 1 having amazing music for a computer game it brings back heaps of nostalgic fun!
Also Rome total realism, AOEII and Diablo 2 always snatch me up from time to time.

I've actually pulled myself away from WoW for a bit to get in some Prince of Persia for the PS3. Got it for Christmas and my one and only save file was December 26th.

Also, picked up Lego Star Wars for the kids and we're having a blast with it.

I love the Lego games. I beat one of the Star Wars ones, and my girlfriend and I are working on Lego Indiana Jones now.

fighting games, tekken, street fighter ect. those are really the only things i've been playing since FF7 came out :/

i do like valkyria chronicles

if they were going to turn mordheim into a video game, i think the valkyria chronicles game engine is how it should be set up. "first person (with overhead view between turns), turn based, strategy, rpg "

I haven't played vidoegames since some asshat broke in to my storage room and stole my Nes & Snes (ironicly the very night before I was going to take them up to my apartment). So now I will have to settle for my trusty old pc games.... Wich sort of sucks cause I really miss my old nes games.

I actually just stopped playing WoW (world of warcraft) after 4 years. Guess i finally woke up,,lol. Now I have an account with multiple maxed toons, tons of gold..all collecting dust and soon to slip into the void.

On a side note: I always failed to understand why GW wouldnt come out with a PS/Xbox version of some of their smaller games, Mordheim included. With all the crappy clone games filling the shelves in the video game stores they would be welcomed by many imo. Seriously, how many versions of a football game do we need?

Agreed, there are way to many sports games... and racing games they dont really do it for me either...

Its not your normal racing game tho... im refering to GT and games where you drive in circles for excitement...

Yeah, I know. They kinda suck.

Mmmm, Burnout. I played for like 6 hours last night since I picked up the Big Surf Island DLC. It's awesome.
