MyLittlePwny's Undead and Lizardmen (Pic Heavy)

Well here's my Undead and Lizardmen, no further text needed

Let's start with the Vampire:




Necromancer with dagger (cheapass):

And here's my 5 Ghouls:








That's all my Undead so far - along comes the scaly men:

Saurus warriors:

Skink Braves with short bows, javelins and spear:










Again, that's all for now, i have skink priest, kroxxigor, saurus on cold one and more of the above in the oven (not litterally ofc..)

However, I can't help to not really like the glossy varnish. On the skinks, it's ok (they are aquatic, aren't they?), but the matte cloak on the second necromancer does look a lot better than the shiny, in my opinion. But his head is really great!

Yeah i hate it too - it's a "dipper" i bought before i got my washes, and i can't be arsed to repaint all those models untill i'm just close to having painted all my other models hehe

COOL! I REALLY like the Vampire & the Necro with the Halberd; I did one like that as a Priest of Morr [different strokes & all that ]. The flesh color on the Ghouls turned out VERY well in a sickly, disgusting sort of way [appropriate]. The dark skinned Lizard Guys look EXCELLENT. WELL DONE!

Both necromancers are assembled from the Empire Wizards box - you get a ton of different head/arm choices and 2 bodies and there you go!

And I'm ashamed I never thought of using the Empire Wizard set, fo anything else then an Empire Wizard (really like the set, have 4 Wizards already),

I noticed you added a crossbow pistol to one of your great crests. Out of curiosity, do you actually field him with one, or is that just for some visual gear?

Lastly, if you just gloss coat the skin of the skinks, it makes their skin pop a lot more as the sliminess of the skin contrasts with the matte of the wood. I realize you can't do that dipping, but you can go over after the dip without too much effort.

Ah nice advice Identity, thanks a lot! And for the xbow pistol, i'm using it as a regular xbow (just skink size ya know ) with 2 great crests with xbows who can hide with the priests spell after shooting is pretty nasty!
