Group Name

Hey guys,
Our Mordheim group is looking for a cool name but we are having trouble getting cool ideas.
Does anyone have any thoughts?

Hmmm... a name for a gaming group?

Usually the best is to draw on one's personal experiences with the group to find inspiration.

e.g. You all enjoy having tea during your games ---> "Teabag Mordheimers/Gamers"

I personally like "The (Dutch) East India Gaming Company"

I've been thinking about a name for my group once. I felt pretty clever when I came up with "BTB".

I had come up with a Group name for a Group that NEVER actually became a Group [that was rather convoluted ]. How about:You're welcome to it, if it strikes your fancy.

The Dogs of War OR The Hounds of Mordheim,

I don't know - that's all I could think of...

Hmm, some nice gems in there. I like The hounds of Mordheim or The California(or Oakland) Mercenaries Guild.

Picking a name is tough.

We all want something with Wyrdstone or just Wyrd in the title but are ideas, as yet, aren't great.

Anything with Teabag in the title is right out. We'd be better off with a name like muff divers if we were to go that route.

Some of the variants on "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" sound pretty good to me. Why is it that you're looking for a name for your group? Is it to be used in print in certain circumstances?

Haha, yeah, I most agree with the thought process posed by Tom, but he unwittingly chose an exceptionally poor example for us here in the US.

Well, we meet weekly at a place called End Game in Oakland and the turn out is getting better and better, so we thought we should have a name for flyers and such. We are now in our 3rd campaign and we have about 4 tables going a week and the store has even started stocking the rule book. The anniversary of our group is coming up this June.

Just a few reasons for a name.

Considering your penchant for the Living Impaired AND your Gaming Store, you could call yourselves THE DEAD END KIDS. Spanky MacFarlane would approve.

Teabaging, hehe that's funny....

I really like Dead Ends. It's short, quick to say, has a nice ring, has lots of different meanings, and even fits the store name in there.
