Trading Pit Feedback poll

Hi guys!

I would be interested in knowing more about the efficiency of the "Trading Pit" section.

If you have already posted in this section in the past, and have some experience with it, please take a few minutes to vote/comment here.

Key

100% = Very satisfied. I have successfully traded several times and would trade again anytime.

80% = Satisfied. I have successfully traded once or twice. I would to it again.

50% = Kind of satisfied. I have had good and not so good experiences with this section. I might use it again.

20% = Hard to say. I used this section less than 2 times but unfortunately we never got a deal going. However I think I will use this section again it the future.

5% = Not satisfied. I have had more bad than good experiences here. I tend to stay away from the "Trading Pit".

There are 2 more possible answers that fall in none of the "Satisfaction" cathegories. Please consider these too when voting.

To be honest, while I've been fairly active in swapping thingys, I don't REALLY do so in to order acquire stuff. It's more a matter of finding homes for minis I love, but know I'll NEVER get to. AND sending & receiving little packages from ALL OVER the World is TREMENDOUS FUN! SO... my "Very Satisfied" response should be taken [along with most things I say ] cum grano salo.

It is an excellent option on the forum I really love it

I went for the penultimat option, if anythings comes up that I want I'd go for it.

I likewise have traded several things and sold one thing. Not all trades work out but that is not a big deal as I would rather trade or sell stuff to people I know than on ebay. It is a nice feeling knowing you are sending something to someone who loves and appreciates gaming.

The same as Da Bank, it's just a matter of "passion", we're all fan of this game, and there's more satisfaction to trade here than on Ebay

As I live so far from most of you guys, and mail rates are a killer, PLUS Mexico probably has the WORST mail service in the world, I usually just lurk, drool and dream about all those beautiful models...

I do a lot of trading (rather than selling) on Warseer. I like swapping stuff I'm not using for stuff I can and helping other people make cool models in the process.

As yet I haven't traded on this forum but I have no problem posting internationally so keep checking the trading section regularly.

@catferret...you are on the Easternfringe also?

Yeah, Warseer, Eastern Fringe, The Underhive, The Conclave and here. All as Catferret.

I am still new to the forum, and haven't had the chance to use it yet. I like that the feature is here though.

I should make a point to check it more often.

I think the pit is great, as you can get some cool stuff cheap/for free.

Not all deals work out, and not all requests can be answered, but for those occasions, you can always go to ebay or bitzbox and buy your stuff there. The greatest hindrance I have experienced is the fact that we are an international community with lots of people overseas, because this makes postage rate quite often unpayable. However, if you do not plan to open up your won post, there's nothing you can do about it

And as all the others have said, it's nice to trade the miniatures to people you know and afterwards see them again in the Gallery section

I never had a successful trade through this forum YET, but I hope to have some in the near future.

Well, indirectly the pit IS responsible for that building I did for you...on second thought you might be right about "no successful trades" .

I have never used it but I like to check the section for potential "deals".

Even though I haven't done any trading/buying in the Pit does not mean that I would not. Several of the gaming forums that I have been a member of has always turned out good and I have no problem with doing so here.

Ive traded once with Pit and once with Lanyssa and both went smoothly would trade again if I find something i could use, or if i have something someone else needs

However seeing I have tons of bits, I may put some stuff up to give them a home.

And me something new to work with.

I can make a dwarf, undead, human, witchhunter warband with no troubles just by using bits.

Uh, what about those items that I sent??? You, Paluke, and Ezekiel all had a successful trade, I thought.

PFT... have you seen the date of his post? that was before we traded... and yes it was succesful, and I'm gonna have to change my vote!

I've traded with a couple people, including PitFighter and someone else whose name escapes me at the moment. I also got free stuff from DeafNala through one of my trade posts.

just read the scammed thread, and would like to add Seifer-NL to the safe traders list, as I received a very nice bunch of models from him a while back!
and am liking the trading pit more and more... (though it gets addictive, and I spend even more money on models I don't REALLY need hehe...)
