| New gaming board (all painted components aren't glued down, and if you notice any minis ir dice lying around: me and my bro were impatient): Dwarf blackxmith's (from the poor quarter, hence the shoddy carpentry - thanks to Oskar for the old LEGO box): Neoclassical middle-class town-house (ie. house with funny windows ): And a new tower (just to prove I can use new materials. This tower is actually really tall, I just forgot to put a mini in it before photo'ing, I won't forget for the finished pics). Small update: Hope this doesn't happen, too much, /-: That's all for now, see yah!

| Wow, I really like what i see. The balsawood-heavy construction has a great look to it across a gaming table.
What'd you do for the ground of your table? It looks fantastic, but I can't even postulate as to how you did it.

| If you're looking for your lighter, its under the table to the left. Lost Bics can be stressful. Oh & the game board looks TERRIFIC! It appears you've got the WHOLE thing underway; VERY NICE! Try not to be overwhelmed by it all. It has a LOT of potential. I REALLY like all the catwalks; LOTS of swash buckling possibities there. The Chapel is a particularly cool piece. The Statue thingy on top is a VERY cool touch. WELL DONE! Keep us posted on its development [or ELSE ]. | |

| Thanks guys. I've since done some more work on the chapel (I've added dormer windows, an altar and am getting ready for the belfry and trimming.) - Identity wrote:

I made a 4' square from reapers (cheap wood used to hold tiles clear of wooden ceilings) then gave it a plywood bottom to form a tray. Which I filled with plaster-of-Paris and scratched the designs in with a stylus. If you whip it up with the stylus before it's fully set you can get a mud effect.

| Looks very promising.
The ground work is great.
Where did you get all the plastic scenic bits? (anvil, braziers, torches...)
Thank for posting and we want to see how all this develops.
Best wishes. | |

| All from my bitz box. The anvils are from the dwarf rangers (banner tops), the braziers are from the helcannon volley gun/rocket battery and plastic tower boxes. Don't know about any torches. And the wooden work-bench is an offcut from the tower (I converted mine to have a Mordheim cut-away to the inside). And you'll be pleased to know that I've decided to make the tower into a full size church, complete with side chapels and an aisle (it'll be, roughly, 21" tall, 18" long and 17" wide). I hadn't lost the lighter, it's supposed to be there (next to the burner, so I can set fire to things ). | |

| Wow, that looks great. It must have been a big job to build all that (and probably a bigger one to paint it all!) Your tower/chapel looks great! and gaming wise a verry intresting piece. PS the guy with the spear is great, he means buisness! | |

| Hi, I haven't had much time for modelling recently, but I've just done some more work on the church: View through the front-door: Side-chapel of Ulric (more gods = makes more worshippers = more money!) Morr (on a funeral pyre) Aerial view (showing the crossing, side chapels, high altar/altar of Sigmar and aisle) I'm anticipating lots of badly-painted violence here This shows the floor-plan and size (unfortunately you can't see what's on the ruler. But the aisle is about 7 1/4 inches wide) Enjoy! | |

| That's a huge church! Great stuff, I'm anxious to see how this evolves. | |

| VERY IMPRESSIVE! I REALLY like all the interesting angles of the beast; AND the Bell tower is a fine looking structure all by itself. VERY WELL DONE! | |

| Thanks! - DeafNala wrote:

That's nothing, the whole thing is based on satanic nubers and shapes: each octagon-wall is three inches long and the aisle is six inches (three sixes!), the octagon (obvuously) and the aisle is 7 inches wide (a strongly satanic/magical number). Add that to the macabre decor and you can thank your lucky stars that it's in the old-world not 16th century Europe!

| Great work chad. Although not gorgeous, that looks like an extremely fun and playable set of terrain. The church is coming together nicely. Keep it up. | |
