At last, the warband is finished! Maybe it's not the best warband of mine, but I had to paint the last minis as badly as the first mini was painted... well, maybe not badly, but not so nice as I can However, I hope you like the miniatures more than I do - I have to stop painting Empire minis for few... weeks? months? years?

But I don't want to complain here and now, but to show the warband

INSPIRING STUFF! I can identify with your less than enthusiastic appraisal of your own work...I'm never satisfied with my own stuff. HOWEVER, from my unbiased perspective, they look TERRIFIC. VERY WELL DONE!

Very nice colourful warband! I like them!

I especially like how they are loaden with stuff. That's totally Mordheimish.

Very snazzy! The group shot really shows the amount of colour these guys could bring to Mordheim. I think they look splendid, and if you're not satisfied with them Skavenblight, it's because your painting standard is so high. Very good work!

Actually that is not all, I love your paint style, it is one of my favorite styles on this board. Your bases stick out to me in particular, how did you get the green liquid effect? I aim to copy it.

@cianty. Thanks, I tried to put as much stuff as possible on them I don't like models which look like a Christmas tree, but I think Mordheim is a specific game, we can buy so many things, not only weapons and armour, so Mordheim minis should take some of them to the City of the Damned.

@Figgy - the green liquid is simply green painted base with gloss varnish. You can copy as you wish

So...simple. Now I feel silly.

Yes, absolutely. That's exactly how I imagine proper Mordheim Mercenaries - loaden with stuff.

WOW! I dunno how I missed this thread, but this warband is astounding! As always, your minis are beautiful! The freehand on the captain's cloak is a favorite of mine as well (I know, not very original, but it's really well done).

p.s. Also (coming from yet aneother "Thomas"), I have to second our good admin's assessment - we're a very agreeable bunch!

i like the mountain guard and the captain most. the captain becaus of its dynamoc posture and the exceptionell painting. The mountain guard because of they fit so well together. I just saw them and thought that i would hire all of them.
