Foot remakes his Warbands!

Hello all!

Right so for awhile now my Witch Hunter warband has grown alot (current warband rating is 511 ) and with a new campaign starting sometime soon with my gaming group i have decided to get some of the lovely new empire plastics i thought i would finally go ahead with my plans

So first up i have finished building the youngest of the bunch so heres a pic

mainly used plastic bits with a little bit of green stuff for the boots, also tried something new with my bases rather than regular ol cobble stone

C&C always welcome as normal .

may i ask do you play empire also or did you just grab some boxes of empire and converted?
wich boxes should you go for if you want to have all the "good" parts?

so the question is mainly, what parts did you use? cause i haven no clue on the new sprews.

OH YEAH! LOOKIN' GOOD, Foot! Nice use of the plastic stuff. GW DOES make some EXCELLENT plastic bits that can be combine to create an infinite number of unique minis. Kit-bashing is becoming an art form, AND you ARE oneofthe Masters ofthegenre. Keepupthe GOOD WORK!

Ta. I just grabed the new archers and greatswords boxes atm both are great kits, plus one of my friends plays empire so I have been swaping bits with him. This model was made from....
Body- new archers
Head-volly gun crew
Arms-milita( can't spell) but u get them with the mordheim box
pouches and sword - new archers
Sheild- swordsmen

The great swords are indeed great but only thing is the cost abit now ( shakes fist at GW). If I were you I would have a ask around first for the stuff you want instead of just buying the kits for about 10ish models, unless you are making an Empire army too apprently the pistoler box is really good, they are nexton my list.

P. S. Can one of the mods please change the titel of this tread from "Signars" to Sigmars

dont know about that to make an empire army,
have a 2000p vampire army already. but you can never have to many warbands ^^
but you may be right. you will get alot of figures if you buy 4 boxes.
20+10+10+10 = 50
so about 3 warbands you could cram out of it.

Oh nicely done, i like it alot. Do you mind if i borrow the idea for my WIP Witch Hunter Warband i'm building for my upcoming longterm campaign?

The Empire Infantry & Handgunner/Xbow boxes are a must. If you can only get one boxed set, go for the Miltia first.

I've told you already but I'll say it again here for emphasis, he's more awesome than James T. McAwesome on St Awesome's day while wearing a hat made purely of awesome.

Totally stealing that idea to make a Mordheim Bounty Hunter hired sword now. Was always wondering how it should look and this guy has inspired me.

COOL STUFF, Foot! Those are three seriously NASTY looking Puppies; Rackham makes some TRULY great minis. Gabriel is an equally NASTY piece of work; I LOVE the top coat, & all the paraphenalia. WELL DONE!

Yeeha ! I bought these beautiful dogs last week, be quick if you want them, there's no sellers anymore (they closed their old range of minis recently, now they just sell their new plastic minis ).

abit chaotic you say? Well Mordheim does change people . But I do see witch hunters slightly that way abut more" kill, maim, burn!" thing going on at times
