Mordheim 2019 IC

In 2019 IC it has been 20 years since the comet destroyed Mordheim. As is only fitting in 2019 AD it will have been 20 years since the game of Mordheim was published.

To celebrate this I will host a small weekend campaign for a few good friends.

I sincerely hope I will be able to chronicle the progress here as is proper.

The incredible and unique Tears of Envy has already begun her journey north and more are bound to follow.

The Zone wants to be respected. Otherwise it will punish.

I aim, even if it feels a bit unlikely, to make one gaming table per month so that we can have a good set to choose from.

That would be epic. Let’s hope that the cursed cavalcade makes an appearance and that Tuomas can be persuaded to spill some of the Mordheim back story beans for the anniversary event.

We limited it to only use the warbands from the og rulebook, easier to craft the right mood that way. But some will mix in oldhammer miniatures while others use the newest plastics or custom sculpts.

About 20 persons are involved, from all over Europe and the States. Pretty sure we will spend a lot of time chatting about the games and settings, we usually do.

John is working on a pretty strange Possessed warband, I hope I can show it here later on. Kristian started on a Skaven warband and Michael Anderson has a beautiful human merc warband going on, no surprise at how well painted it is. Again, no pressure at all.

I promise I will try to be as active here as possible leading up to the games, after all this is where I rediscovered Mordheim.

It sounds like a wonderful affair, but it belongs in the Battle Report & Fluff Section.

May I ask why? Isn't this the part where we post wip miniatures? I'd prefer to have everything in a single topic to make it more accessible.

I'm not going to write battle reports for this, it's just impossible.

Haha no worries old sport. My projects seldom fits easily into one place, for good or bad.

The Reiklanders have been recruiting

Some fantastic kitbashing. I just finished painting a Reiklander Warband but no where near as nifty as this one.

They all look FANTASTIC. I love all the kit bashing.
I think your Reikland Guys might be easier to see with a dark background; they fade & blend in with the white. Other than that, OUTSTANDING WORK!
