Maudeheim & Environs, Part II: Updated 06/30/16

As the sign says, there are a few more details some of which I photographed...well actually the Camera of Continual Contrariness made the photos...she said to say that.

Oh man, that looks awesome, and i envy everyone who leaves in texas and has the possebility to drop by your house and have a game on this fantastic scenery, love it.

Funny thing is I was envying you & MoM for your OH-SO-COOL terrain, minis, & the occasional game you have together. We'll all have to move to someplace equidistant from our present locations...I figure that would be either Iceland or the Canary Islands.   

Well, in that case i´ll go for iceland; been there, and i can tell you, in rekjavik they make the best sandwiches i´ve ever tasted, so, that plus snow, i am in!
But what would a guy from texas say to a lot of snow and about 6 hours of sunlight during the winter?

Well Texas is a new locale for moi. I was a Long Islander (just East of New York City) for my first 62 years...when I moved there was about 4' (120cm) of snow on the ground.

I Like the new details, only thing I would add would be drips of candlewax along the pole and on the flooring. now they all look newly placed, and I just know your residents aren't big into cleaning their place

The candle wax is a great idea. Not only does it reflect the proper attitude toward house keeping, but it would give the poles a bit more stability.   

A Lovely Couple moved into the Graveyard next door to the Shanty Town. Here a few photos of ASTOUNDING MEDIOCRITY of the new neighbors:

Really like the basing of Himself, although Herself looks a little miffed not to be on a pedestal as well.

When I went to take the photos, I discovered the all the scenery pieces I had used for mini pics are now part of one of the boards. SO some puppet stage items are now on the agenda.

Mushrooms & Signs sound almost prophetic. Other than adding a couple of the last details to the Shanty Town the only omen is the start of a new board or two...possibly three. Be that as it may, here are a couple of now anticlimactic photos:

As details are added to the Isles & the Shanty Town further photos will be added. The Graveyard, Catacombs, & an old W.I.P. loom on the horizon...well they're sitting anxiously by/on my work table to be more accurate & less dramatic.

The lettering is just a carry over from some calligraphy work I did a very long time ago.

AND speaking of creepy, since what passes for a my mind decided that 4 AM was a splendid time to be awake, I've gotten some work done on The Graveyard...a crumpling retaining wall & terraced hill are well underway. There should be some photos later today or early tomorrow...or not.
