The Los Angeles Specialists are back! This time is NECROMUNDA!!! We're at the GW LA Bunker (Westminster) on Sundays from 12pm - 6pm. Join us to play as one of the random gangs that are invading the Hives!

Week 1 Highlights:

One of the Guilders looks down over steepled fingers... His assistant speaks.
'The riots have escalated. The teeming chaos beneath the Hive shows no sign of slowing.'

'... and what of the Mutants? I had heard tell from one of my sources that there was evidence of Scavvy presence in the melee...',
the Guilder replies, his gaze not shifting.

'Gone, sir. Driven into the wastes. They have not been seen since.'

'Excellent... Keep me posted. This is looking to become quite a spectacle...'

-------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks for showing up to the first week of the Necromunda campaign, everyone! I hope you all had a good time! I personally had a blast!
Things should run much smoother over the rest of the campaign, as most of the prep work is now dealt with.

First things first, Battle Reports:

The Scavvies were driven out of the Underhive. Evidence shows they will not likely be seen again. During the same timeframe, a gang from House Escher
has stepped up to make a name for itself.

The Wings of the Phoenix stomped out a gang of random Goliaths with ruthless efficiency, earning a foothold in the Hive.

The Delaque gang The Illuminati also managed to spread some of their number after taking out a roving Chaos Cult spreading their corruption in the Hive.

The Spanish Inquisition laid waste to a gang from House Orlock, and now continue their violent march across the territories

At the same time, the Filthy Few of House Orlock struck out for their fallen brethren against a passing cadre of Redemptionists, felling the extremists with little
damage to themselves.

The Genestealer Cult (Charles' Gang, name pending) lost in their fight, and still struggle to find some headway in the chaos.

House Delaque (Chris' gang, name also pending) were unable to cause much damage to the cultists that assaulted them. They were pushed back as well.

It was a battle of brawn as the Pit Slaves took on a group from House Goliath. It didn't take long for the cybernetic enhancements of these combat veterans to
win the day in the end.

The Rockjaw Squats eeked out a victory in the wastes, driving a Bounty Hunter team off their claim. Stalwart defense managed to best the speed of the opposition
this time around.

House Van Saar sponsored Weyland Industries set up shop in the dead center of the Hive, striking a claim that could prove tactically advantageous in the weeks
to come.

...And it was stunty hunting season for the Kroot Bounty Hunters, who managed to tactically outsmart and utterly outgun a wayward group of Squat claim jumpers out
in the wastes.

VERY COOL PHOTOS...the terrain is OUTSTANDING! thumbsup
Necromunda is another of those games that I love, but have never had an opportunity to play...or even watch. I wish you the BEST OF LUCK with The Campaign; keep us posted as it develops. What a Face

Week 2 Highlights:

'The turmoil continues... The the violence spreads... House Escher, seeing their opportunity sends not one, but two gangs out into the riots to stake their claim.

Martial Law is declared as the Arbite Enforcers touch ground. It is not long before they unleash a tide of brutal fury at anyone in their path. They lash out, and move on.

...and in the deepest shadows of the sprawl, the servants of the Dark Gods begin to stir...'
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Week two was a success, I think! Thanks again to everyone who showed up!! We've got two new players starting up with us this week as well!

Anyway, here's the rundown of what happened last week!

The Rockjaws Squat Mining team attempted to stake a claim in an Orlock owned Mine Workings, and were driven back due to an
unforseen weapon malfunction. One member gained a head wound and another gained a wound which is sure to stick around for a while. It may keep him out of the next fight.

The Illuminati had one ganger go down from a Van Saar chainsword wound, but managed to make a full recovery. This was not before a massive plasma ball melted the Van Saar Heavy.

The Kroot Bounty Hunters, the Flesh Feasters, completely destroyed an Escher splinter group with a hail of bolter shells and so many grenades.

The Diesel Cooperative managed to stake a claim on an errant Imperium Supply Cache that landed close to their territory. They walked away with a large amount of food and supplies, as well as a few lasweapons for their trouble.

The Wings of the Phoenix defended themselves skillfully against the invasion of the Squats, and soon set up an ambush against a wandering group of Pit Slaves. They quickly dispatched the slaves, and managed to keep the weak dome above them from collapsing in a heap.

House Dragon was caught up in a dome collapse, but managed to survive the destruction, coming out ahead over the small group of Eschers, who were crushed beneath the rubble.

The Ditch Witches were able to stake out a place in the Hive with amazing skill, completely wiping out a team of Bounty Hunters, and making a base out of the mine workings they found there.

The Spanish Inquisition took down another group of fanatics and managed to convert one of the crusaders to their cause. The fires of the Redemption continue to cleanse the wicked.

House Escher (Matt) was driven back by a gang of Orlocks due to broken nerve, but they've got plenty more time to prove their worth to the main House.

The Filthy Few emerged victorious in a complete shutout, suffering no casualties versus a group of Escher stragglers.

The Takamada Inquisition faced a group who claimed to be a part of the Redemption, but in the end turned out to be more bark than bite. Soon after, the Takamada Inquisition was set upon by the Adeptus Arbites.
In a massive show of force, they brought out as many heavy weapons as they could, and drove the Inquisition out of the territory by way of a frag grenade delivered to a concentrated group of Devotees. The Redemptionists were able to take down an officer and his Cyber Mastiff before fleeing, however.

Weyland Industries of House Van Saar leveled a group of Delaque members in a hail of gunfire in a well planned ambush. The gang suffered no casualties.

The Pit Slaves (Dan) brought their crushing might down against a group of Orlocks in a dense city zone, taking a victory.

--------------------
And that's how things went down for this week. Looking forward to week 3!! Also, as usual, a few new rules errata.

The Skill "Nerves of Steel" has gained a full re-write. The old wording made the skill literally do nothing, so the wording is now:
'If a model with this skill would be pinned, roll a D6. On a result of 4+ they do not suffer the pin. Any model with this skill may also attempt to stand up with an initiative test while alone in the same way he would if a model was within 2 inches of him."

Please make sure you read the campaign rules packet. Anyone who isn't doing so needs to roll on the injury table for Random gangs as there is a chance that members can be captured.

Also, start thinking about your vehicles, as the Underdome event will be happening on week 7! This will allow you plenty of time to come up with a vehicle concept, and get the model put together to use!

Week 3 Highlights:

'The Arbite Enforcers made a heavy impression, but was it enough...?'
The Guilder speaks aloud, to noone in particular.

'What do you mean, sir?'
The lackey asks, slightly confused.

'They storm in, with booming thunder and carnage, and then disappear...
They do not carry the momentum forward. This is a bit disappointing.
No matter. There are others who are willing to wreak havoc on the rabble...'

With that statement, the room goes silent. The thunderous cacophony of the riots can be heard through the thick shielded glass.
--------------------------------------------------

Week 3 has come to a close. We had Xeno change his gang from Delaque to something that should prove interesting, and we're starting to get everyone's names and logos decided on!
But without further rambling, here's what happened.

The Wings of the Phoenix (Mario) suffered a massive blow to their pride when their Leader was captured in their recent loss to a roving band of Escher house members.
He was stripped, and subsequently returned. Chung was promoted to a full-fledged Ganger despite this setback.

The Bairn of Nurgle (Xeno) made their presence known, bringing with then a foul stench and a plague of Zombies. They tear recklessly through the Underhive, taking down a band of Goliaths who just
happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The Leader of the Goliaths was quickly surrounded and devoured by the foul monsters, under the supervision of the Priest, of course.

The Leader of the Ditch Witches (Alex) nearly managed to get herself out of a nasty situation, taking down two of three Orlock Juves, before finally being struck down. She seems to have made it back to action, however.
The Gang also had one of their Heavy gunners captured and returned stripped in what seems to be the start of an epidemic. The Gang did manage to pull through and seize the victory.

Weyland Industries (Todd) earned themselves a Pyrrhic victory this week. They managed to seize territory from a Redemptionist congregation, but suffered heavy losses due to overconfidence. It's a mistake they're not likely to
repeat.

The Illuminati (Michael) managed to easily snuff out a Squat mining operation on the fringes of their territory. By the time they were through, not one man was left conscious enough to even surrender.

The Filthy Few (Jacob) expertly manage to take down a group of bounty hunters, with particular attention paid to the two hunters who bled to death at exactly the same time.

The Pit Slaves, taking up the moniker of 'Batteries Not Included' (Dan) managed to survive against insurmountable odds, when they staged an ill-planned ambush on a splinter sect of the Nurgle Chaos Coven. The ambush ended
up being a knock-down, drag-out fight as the Plague Zombies joined the fray, causing the cult to outnumber the Pit Slaves by six men. Three slaves were taken out in the melee, but reports state they have made a full recovery.

The Rockjawz Squat Mining Team (Mark) struck out in a new direction, as House Orlock has laid claim to the precious mine working they were originally setting out for. The Squats, not long to be disheartened, took down a gang
of Delaque miscreants, and proceeded to strip their new territory of it's valuables before moving on.

The Redemptionists of the Spanish Inquisition (Mike) managed to snatch a territory out from the grasping hands of House Dragon (Charles). The sheer number devoted to their cause seemed to swing victory in their favor.

The Flesh Feasters (Ian) Bounty Hunter troupe took in a big payday after capturing two members of House Orlock. Reports state the House members in question were distracted by a member of the Bounty Hunter gang.
A few heavy bolter shells later, and they were turned into profit.

The Diesel Cooperative (Chris) moved into a suspected archeotech territory and fought against a random gang of Orlocks. As the fire fight commenced, Diesel's Heavy blasted an Orlock off his feet before the gun jammed. He dropped it in disgust and moved forward with his back up lasgun. As the Diesel's moved deeper into the archeotech zone, one their gangers got blasted off his feet from an Orlock plasma shot. The Orlock gang moved forward, but they were unprepared for the ranged response the Diesels had as two of the Diesel's gangers took down two Orlocks and Vlad took down the Orlock leader with a well placed bolter shot. This proved to be too much for the Orlocks and they fled the territory, leaving it in the hands of the Cooperative.

Week 4 Highlights:

The riots have reached a new fervor.
No longer were the gangs mindlessly warring with one another... They have tapped into a new-found cunning.
They were forming plans...

The gangs struggle for every important territory, fighting tooth and nail to remain standing. The small gangs attempting
to make their mark are learning the hard way what it takes to be a major player downhive.

And still, the looming Hive City stands silently, watching the carnage unfold...

While they have yet to make their move, a presence screams it's way through space, and is soon to hit Necromunda with
tremendous force....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Week 4 has come to a close, and week 5 will certainly be a memorable one. Xeno, Todd and Matt were not present last week,
but each of them should be back this week! Ryan unfortunately cannot stay long this week, but we will arrange a makeup game for him, as he has alerted me to this well ahead of time.

On to the recaps!

A small clique of mutant hating Redemptionists found their way into the quarries of the Rockjawz Squat Mining Team (Mark). Through advantageous position and sheer resolve, the Squats took the day.

The Flesh Feasters (Ian) Bounty Hunters managed to hold their ground against a group of Orlocks in a battlefield that offered little in the way of protection. After a standoff, the fighting began. Beak met the business end of a Heavy Stubber, and ended up thrown out of the gang due to injury.

The Illuminati (Michael) took on the Eschers in a grudge match battle that was quickly decided after two members of the Escher gang went down. The rest of the gang fled in terror, leaving the Illuminati victorious.

The Spanish Inquisition (Mike) refused to go down without a fight, eventually overtaking a group of Orlock gang fighters who were set upon them. The fight carried on to the bitter end in a struggle that will surely be remembered for some time to come.

The Wings of the Phoenix (Mario) had one juve get a whole lot uglier and much more horrifying after taking a direct shot to the face from a Redemptionist Melta-Gun, and Pollo gained himself a new skylight for his skull. The Orlocks won the day, and managed to capture one of the Redemptionist Zealots, taking his gun, and sending him off into the wastes.

The Filthy Few (Jacob) faced down the Bounty Hunters and managed to take down every last man except for the fleeing Guilder and one Specialist. They managed to fetch themselves a fair amount of territory for their trouble, and a new gang member to boot! Sleazy Steve took a knife to the chest, but is otherwise unconcerned because 'chicks dig scars'. Joey Shithead decided he didn't need accuracy to get the job done, and managed to miss all shots except one during the fight.

The Bairn of Nurgle (Xeno) took down a sect of the genestealer cult with much ferocity, resulting in a near complete elimination of the opposition. The foetid fighters march steadily forward to their next battle... for CHAOS!!

The Crusade of the Takamada Inquisition (Ryan) moves steadily forward, burning all in their path, earning themselves a Power Sword in what is surely thanks for their unwavering faith and devotion.

The Diesel Cooperative met with an unfortunate setback in the form of the Adeptus Arbites Enforcer Squad. After two of his gang took a direct hit from a Frag Grenade screaming through a window, the battle heated up. They managed to hold their own for a while, and it looked like they might come out the winner, but the gang couldn't hold it's nerve and fled back into the Underhive.

The Ditch Witches (Alex) suffered a 'Heavy' casualty as they lost one of their fighters against a group of random Delaque fighters. The Eschers managed to pull it away and take the victory, causing the Delaques to run away with their tails between their legs.

House Dragon fought hard against a number of Delaque members in a brawl that took everyone toe to toe. After the melee, one of the members of the Delaque crew appeared to have defected to the side of the Dragon. He could be seen following them with a blank stare on his face.

The Diesel Cooperative managed to make up for their loss by moving back into the territory that was taken from them, and subsequently beat the tar out of the Goliaths that squatted their. Though they were given a bit of a rough time by a seemingly untouchable juve. The Goliaths were eventually routed, and driven back out to find another place to claim.

Looking forward to next week when things should get fairly crazy down in the hive! See you guys then!

Week 5 Highlight:

A jet black pod strikes Hive Primus with a roar. The doors blast open, and emerging from inside, the menacing form of five of the Emperor's Space Marines.
The Deathwatch has touched down on Necromunda...

They immediately take to the field, unleashing a fury as yet unknown in this conflict. Chainswords screamed, bolt shells crashed, and the fearsome energy of the warp was let loose.
All who would stand in their way would soon know their wrath...

The violence continues to rage...
----------------------------------------------------------------

Hey guys, week 5 is at an end! I'm sorry the report is coming so late, it's been a busy week for me! Hopefully things have calmed down enough that I'll have these on time again.

The Space Marines of the Deathwatch crashed to the earth, directly on top of the Wings of the Phoenix (Mario)! The gang put up a surprisingly good fight, managing to wound the Devastator,
but ended up driven out in the end. Their retreat drove them directly into a roving band of Bounty Hunters. Clearly ill-prepared after dealing with the Space Marines, they fled yet again, into a territory housing a small group of
gangers from House Escher. The Eschers were dealt with quickly, giving the Wings of the Phoenix a much needed respite.

The Colors of Death (Matt) met with an unfortunate end at the hand of the Bairn of Nurgle (Xeno). After a fierce battle, the Escher gang no longer had the resources to remain together. They disbanded and went their separate
ways. Another band from Escher stepped in to take their place.

The Illuminati (Michael) is expanding quickly, taking another territory from a group of Goliaths that had the gall to stand in their way. They've since added two new members to their gang as a result.

The Filthy Few (Jacob) managed to give Weyland Industries (Todd) a bit of the runaround, taking one of their territories, but returning it in the end in exchange for two captured major members of their own gang. For now, the gangs
stand at a stalemate. Only time will tell if things stay that way.

The Rockjaw Squats (Mark), realizing their good fortune managed to snatch away a Mine Workings from the Wings of the Phoenix while they remained entrenched due to the Deathwatch attack. If all goes well, the Squats are looking to avoid the same fate.

The Flesh Feasters Bounty Hunter crew (Ian) looted their way through a fight with a group of Goliaths they happened to drop in on. Their newest member managed to drop 3 Goliaths, and the gang managed to get a hold of a
nice piece of artillery for themselves. The corpses of the Goliaths have not been recovered, and only a few scraps of flesh are reported to remain.

The Ditch Witches (Alex) managed to take a victory against a group of Orlocks, losing a ganger in the process. They made short work of the Orlock gang shortly thereafter.

In a down to the wire fight, House Dragon (Charles) managed to eke out a win out against the Spanish Inquisition (Mike), capturing one of the Zealots. The word around the hive is he's been seen again, but has
been acting a bit strangely.

The New Escher gang (Matt) stepped in and snatched a territory out from under the Spanish Inquisition as well. How will they respond?

Sorry I haven't commented recently. It seems that I only check the progress of The Campaign in the early hours of the morning when sipping that first cup of coffee & moaning more or less softly are the heights of my intellectual capabilities. Checking out the minis, painted or not, & all that cool terrain is a GREAT WAY to begin the day. Thanks for posting. thumbsup

Week 6 Highlights:

Almost as quickly as they arrived, they vanished... None quite knew why the Marines of the Deathwatch made their descent onto Necromunda. Many preferred not to know...

The threat may have passed, but the mayhem continues.

Out in the Ash Wastes, large clouds of dust envelop the sky, as a structure is put in place. A Massive caged dome of steel plates, rebar and rivets where Hell is set to break loose. The day of the Underdome is near.
-----------------------------------------

Week 6 ends, and with it, comes the departure of the powerful Deathwatch. I hope everyone enjoyed the event. It may have been a bit too much in hindsight, lol. Unfortunately we lost Todd due to work constraints, but here's hoping he can join us again at a later time. Also please be sure to fill out or email me a battle report, people keep disappearing before I learn what happened.

Anyway, on to the reports --

The Rockjawz Squat Mining Team (Mark) found themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time when the massive boots of the Space Marines tore through their territory. They were driven away from the Mine and Kregg was lost in the battle. The medic was unable to save him. In a spot of good fortune they came to rest in a Spore Cave previously owned by the Wings of the Phoenix. They took what they could and moved on. They took a small territory belonging to a group of Orlocks, possibly an offshoot of the house sent to tie up loose ends left by the Wings of the Phoenix. This resulted in a fair windfall that managed to soften the blow suffered previously.

The Filthy Few (Jacob) held their ground against a group of Orlocks as well, taking many down with expert heavy weapons fire. Handsome Rob is not quite so handsome after taking a lasbolt to the head which crippled his hearing and burned his face. Johnny Gak is thanking whatever god there is that the opponent's Heavy Stubber locked up just in the nick of time, leaving him to escape death, and go on to fight another day.

Weyland Industries (Todd) of House Van Saar pulled out of the Hive after an unfortunate incident of what can only be described as alien invasion. Coincidentally, this is also around the time that House Dragon (Charles) moved in.

The Takamada Inquisition (Ryan) routed their opponents and burned them to a crisp. They have been recently sent on a holy pilgrimage and will be absent from the Underdome event.

The Bairn of Nurgle (Xeno) learned the hard way not to ambush members of House Delaque, as the Diesel Cooperative (Chris) managed to hold their own against the crazed cultists and zombies. In a flash of prometheum and with a roar of a shotgun, the fight ended, and the Diesel Cooperative held on to it's Archeotech Horde.

The Cultists must have thought it was still worthwile to strike the Cooperative, as a small group of stragglers attempted to take them out in a shootout in the tunnels. The Cultists proved no challenge, and the Diesel Cooperative blasted it's way through.

The Flesh Feasters (Ian) hunted down a group of Squat claim jumpers out in the Ash wastes, and made quick work of them. The fight was over before the stunties ever got a shot off. The Guilder scored her first kill this day, and much celebration and horrific feasting was had.

Batteries Not Included (Dan) was unfortunate enough to cross paths with a group of Bounty Hunters who were tracking them. They were forced to flee under the tactical might of their pursuers.

The Illuminati (Michael) took an unfortunate loss in a bid for territory when they were caught up in an ambush by The Ditch Witches (Alex). They managed to get out of it with two members out of action, one making a full recovery, but Alex took a sucking chest wound. The Ditch Witches on the other hand, lost Paige the Juve to the violence and brutality of the Hive. The members of the Illuminati captured her and dragged her off to some unforeseen fate.

There was some infighting among the Orlock House, as the Wings of the Phoenix (Mario) took a territory from a small outcropping of other Orlock members in what is reported to be a fairly uneventful fight.

---------------------------------------------------
Matt was a no-show due to work, and I have not received a report from the Spanish Inquisition. It is assumed they took a territory from a random, as I have not heard otherwise.

So now, we get ready for some vehicular carnage in week 7! See everyone then!

------------------------------------
=OBITUARIES=

Paige of the Ditch Witches: "She was still young and had much to learn, but she had so much promise. It truly is a great loss. We do not know what happened to her, but we hope that she did not suffer, and that she still lives. But in this cruel life, it is a foolish hope. There will be vengeance. The Illuminati will pay." -Leader Aleksander of The Ditch Witches
--
Kregg of the Rockjawz: "He was one of us. He was steadfast and loyal. He never went a day in his life where he shirked responsibility. He was also a fan of large guns. It was this, that would be his downfall. Upon retrieval of his body, and necessary preparation, he was given to the æther in the traditional manner of our families... He was sent down the tunnels in a Minecart, his body aflame, cascading light throughout the mine. May his spirit not linger in this dreadful world." - Dregus of the Rockjawz

-------------------------------------
Rules Addendum:

I will be incorporating a Sling rule for basic weapons, as it seems silly that the models themselves can sling weapons over their shoulder, but your gangers can't. You can buy ONE sling for a single basic weapon for 10 credits or a sling for a specialist weapon for 15 credits. You may not purchase more than one sling per ganger. This will allow a fighter who is not armed with a heavy weapon to use two close combat weapons in hand to hand combat.

I agree with Pirexian; i.e., the Game Board is FANTASTIC...they really made the most of their plastic buildings. I also like watching the War Bands evolve from their unpainted state to some very nicely done minis. It's all GREAT STUFF...keep us updated on developments. thumbsup

Week 7 Highlights:

Men and women from all over the hive looked inside the metal cage from their perch above ground. Ten vehicles, each belonging to one of the Underhive gangs.

Each gang, from the House Gangs, to the Outlaws, to the Bounty Hunters to the Squats... even those who follow Chaos were represented.

The tension in the air was maddening.

The noise hushed, and one voice heralded the start of what they had all arrived to see.
'...Let the games begin!!'

The Underdome has started...
The announcements ceased and the carnage began as engines roared and vehicles tore forward into the arena like steel beasts with fangs made of rust and hatred.

House Dragon (Charles) got the first shot off as shells from their auto-cannon sped toward the hull of a black and orange Chimera belonging to the Wings of the Phoenix (Mario). The numerous boxes, sandbags and plates took the first shot, and one of the gangers in the Chimera took the opportunity to return fire with his plasma gun.
The balls of hot plasma tore the auto-cannon from it's fixture, rendering it useless.

Barrett of the Illuminati (Michael) left caution to the wind, leaving himself exposed to get maximum usage out of his Heavy Plasma cannon, sitting atop the gang's looted Rhino tank. Deciding it not worth his while to waste time cooling down, he left the gun on low power and fired a blast directly into the side of the Land Raider tank brought in by the gang from house Escher (Matt).

The hit was powerful... it managed to simultaneously knock out the Escher tank's weapons system, their traction systems and throw one of the crew members to the turf.

House Dragon's truck then took a bone-shattering side-body ram from the skimmer belonging to the Flesh Feasters (Ian), immediately driving it into a wall after causing it to swerve out of control.

The Rockjawz Squats (Mark) on the other side of the arena made their presence known, moving into open space and letting loose with their mounted Lascannon, drawing the attention of three other drivers. The laser tore straight through the ablative armor on the Palanquin of Nurgle, manned by the members of the Chaos Cult (Xeno), taking out many of the daemon nurglings holding it aloft.

This was the time the Spanish Inquisition (Mike), in their sanctified tank moved in for the kill. Industrial machinery mounted on the tank ripped into the side of the Squat Minetrak, and destroyed the mount holding the Lascannon in place.

The Filthy Few (Jacob) decided this was an opportune moment to dig into the side of the Spanish Inquisition. This was not to be the case, as their attack proved ineffective.

The Members of the Escher Gang (Matt), attempted to pick up the pieces and fire back on the Illuminati. The heavy armor on their looted tank made this action a farce.

The Ditch Witches (Alex) sped directly into the back of House Dragon's truck, biting deep and driving it further into the wall, while the gangers inside the tank took some shots at the Wings of the Phoenix.

The spectacle continued for hours. The crowd whipped itself into a blood frenzy, and no longer being able to keep to themselves began to take pot-shots at anyone who would get within range.

Cars, trucks and skimmers continued to crash into each other, and bullets flew all over the arena. The Bounty Hunter's lost their vehicle first in a massive explosion.

Leaving it in a smoldering heap, they took cover as best as they could until they got their chance to strike back... after being assaulted by House Dragon, the Flesh Feasters managed to take one of their members hostage, and held on to him as a bargaining chip for much of the fight.

The Filthy Few were the next to lose their vehicle, after the mining drills of the Squats tore into their fuel tank. In an act of revenge, the Gent, climbing through razor-wire and nails, boarded the Squats vehicle, stabbing MacRoy in the eye.

House Dragon took advantage of the chaos, and managed to steal a tank away from the Ditch Witches. It was this time the Bounty Hunters cashed in their chip. In exchange for the release of their member, House Dragon would surrender one of the vehicles to the Bounty Hunters.

It was at this point the Adeptus Arbites arrived, having caught wind of the days illicit activities. They opened fire from the top of the cage, taking out the Chimera belonging to the Wings of the Phoenix.

With most of the gangs taken out, it was down to the unstoppable heavy tank of the Illuminati, versus the Flesh Feasters, now in the truck of House Dragon.

They faced each other and advanced... time slowed to a crawl...
They were nearly upon each other and something snapped in the head of the Illuminati driver. Whether it be a simple self-preservation instinct, or something else, he veered quickly to the left, just seconds before a catastrophic crash.

The Flesh Feasters Bounty Hunters, in a vehicle belonging to another gang, claimed victory, bringing the Underdome to a close...

------------------------------------------------
And that was week 7 everybody!! I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. Let me tell you, I have never been so giddy as a fan of Necromunda as I was this week. Everything came together so much better than I could ever have dreamed.

Thanks to all of you guys for making that happen.

Anyway, it's back to regular fights next week, and I'll see you all then!

-------------------------------------------------
Rules Addendum -

All Eyes On You - Now that everyone has seen the gangs in action, all of the Underhive is watching. Public opinion will determine much of the respect your gang carries with it during the remainder of the campaign...
For each consecutive loss after the first of your games in any week (i.e., you lose a battle, and are bounced into another fight, then you lose again) will deduct 100 points from your total Gang Rating.
This will be a permanent deduction, and carries through to the end of the campaign.

Also, if you've accrued a total of 400 points deducted in this manner, you will run an additional risk of the Spyrers attacking you, as they see you as easy prey.

At 400 and every 100 points accrued after this, your roll to determine whether or not the Spyrers will ambush you is made at a stacking -1 penalty. For example:

400 - Roll is made at -1
500 - Roll is made at -2
600 - Roll is made at -3, etc.

This penalty does not bottom out your roll at zero.
It is possible to be at a negative result with these penalties applied.

Week 8 Highlights:

The gangs are gaining strength... Many of the smaller groups are already leaving the hive as claimable territory is becoming a scarcity. The Guilder watches, unmoved as the gangs spread closer to the center of the Underhive.

'Sire!' The assistant bursts through the door. 'Bad news from the Enforcers!'
Exasperated, he hands over a rolled scroll.

The Guilder's eyes flash with wild panic as he reads...
'Is this... is this true? Are the reports confirmed...?!'

'Yes, sire...'

'... a Genestealer CULT... Present under Hive Primus! This could be most disastrous... Think of the repercussions, the-the-th...'

He pauses...
'No... We mustn't worry ourselves about this now...'
The guilder hands the scroll back to his assistant,
'No report of this goes off-world... Do you understand?'

'Clearly... sire...'
The assistant turns, and leaves the room. The massive doors close, and the room is once again silent....
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Week 8 is done, and we steadfastly move toward week 9! I can't believe the campaign is over halfway finished! Unfortunately, we lost Dan due to obligations with school, although something may work itself out, hopefully. Until then, the Pitslaves of Batteries not Included are no longer a presence in the Hive. The Spyrer fight has not occurred yet, but will be happening this Sunday, so we'll be able to get a report about that this week!

On to Week 8's battles!

The Bairn of Nurgle (Xeno) blighted their way through a sect of Redemptionists, with Plague Zombies leading the charge. One of their number was captured, but managed to escape, much to the rage of the Redemption.

The Wings of the Phoenix (Mario) seems to have gotten over their string of bad luck, taking a victory in their battle against a group of Eschers, making full use of choke grenades to bring them the advantage.

Vendetta (Matt), on the other hand weren't so lucky, taking a loss to a group of Orlocks elsewhere in the hive. This constant fighting between the two otherwise amicable houses is sure to put a strain on what can already be described as a somewhat tense relationship.

The Illuminati (Michael) of House Delaque continue their targeted assault on any gang they can find hailing from the Escher House, with a surprise hand-flamer attack from two of it's members directly into the heart of the Ditch Witches (Alex) leading to a victory.

The Rockjawz Squat mining team (Mark) moved back into their mines, after previously having been driven out by the Deathwatch, only to find it had now become overrun by foul Ork squatters. In a tooth and nail battle, the Squats came out on top, driving the greenskins back with a blow struck out against the grudges of old.

The Filthy Few (Jacob) successfully defended their territory with the help of Bite, a mercenary hired from the Flesh Feasters Kroot, against the members of House Dragon (Charles). In a startling turn of events, Bite managed to capture one of the members of the house, revealing their dark secret. The Genestealers have been discovered.

After the Orks were driven out of the Mine, they ran afoul of the Flesh Feasters Bounty Hunters (Ian) out in the Ash Wastes. The Orks, behaving very unorky, took to hiding. The Bounty Hunters waited them out. After finally moving in, the Orks were successfully beaten back in close combat. Those Orks that didn't manage to escape ended up captured and turned in for a healthy sum.

The Takamada Inquisition (Ryan) finds themselves in the middle of a Penal colony, and staring down the gun barrels and blockades of the Adeptus Arbites Enforcers. They manage to knock down one member of the force, and take out another, all while making a mad dash to escape. They break free of the bottleneck, and make their way out, back into the Underhive.

The Pitslaves of Batteries Not Included (Dan) have disappeared in the melee. What this means, no one is quite sure. It is unknown whether they were recaptured, killed or otherwise.

The Diesel Cooperative (Chris), showing their colors as members of House Delaque, remained silent this week. No one is quite sure of their whereabouts. More reports as rumors surface.

Later on, the Filthy Few busted in the door to a local drinking hole, and turned a group of Goliaths inside into bullet sponges. Any remaining stragglers were quick to have their teeth kicked in.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RULES ERRATA

Flamers and Hip Shooting - If you fire a flamer weapon after running, all models under the template will be considered partially covered, meaning a 4+ roll is required to hit.

Disarm - The Disarm Skill will no longer permanently destroy a weapon, as it goes against the spirit of the rest of the game's rules. It makes no sense that a weapon knocked from your hand is lost forever while a gun that explodes is usable next game. So any weapons that are disarmed may be retained for use after the game is finished, much like after an ammo check failure.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
See you all for week 9!
Also, please be sure to read the rules carefully, as there have been some things that have been overlooked by players. It's too late to do anything about some of these things now, but please be careful to pay attention.

Week 9 Highlights:

For a time there seemed to be a lull in the Undercity... the fights were more sparse, but tensions were still high.

Then, from the shadows, came four silent forms. Clad in armor, the like unseen Underhive, they stalked an unknown prey. The Spyrer Hunters have made their presence known.

'How many are we up to?' said the Jakara,

'Twenty since last week...' replied the Yeld.

'A good start, I think.' she said.
They continued their move, accompanied by the massive forms of two Orrus, following silently behind.

'Do you think they can handle this themselves?' said an unknown female observer,

'Not a chance...' said her male partner,

'Then we shall do something about that.' she said.
The two unknown protectors followed behind the Spyrers, watching over them, unseen. They carried with them a force of menace that was sure to be felt over the whole of the Underhive.
------------------------------------

Week 9 is over! Sorry it took so long, it was another busy week! The Spyrers finally saw combat, and it was one hell of a fight. Now it's time to prepare for the events of week 10. Things are getting interesting!

On to the reports -

The Rockjawz Squat Mining Team (Mark) seems to have become a target for Bounty Hunters as of late. Having dealt with Bounty Hunters from the Hive before, they made short work of them with two well-placed Lascannon shots, killing two of the advancing troops.

The Takamada Inquisition (Ryan) showed how intimidating the power of flame can be, by quickly driving a group of Orlocks back with their fury.
Three of their members were taken out of action in the fight, but in the end, the Orlocks fled, with their tail between their legs.

The Filthy Few (Jacob) got stuck into a small skirmish with members of House Escher, but they stood little chance. With sprays of bullets and gouts of flame, the gang from House Orlock grabbed on to victory, and held on tight.

The Illuminati (Michael) of House Delaque moved unseen through it's own territory. Time will tell what comes of this.

The Wings of the Phoenix (Mario) caught a group of Redemptionists by surprise during a religious service, doling out sacrilege in the form of concentrated plasma. There were a total of seven members of the crusade taken out by the end of the combat, and the Wings moved on their way.

The Bairn of Nurgle (Xeno) found itself in a predicament, surrounded by the Arbite Enforcers. The fight did not last long. The Cult gave up and fled before they even noticed the movement in the shadows just beyond their battlefield.

The Flesh Feasters Bounty Hunters (Ian) appear to have made a sport of taking down Squats, as they seem to have become quite adept at it. They moved in, quickly and efficiently, and eliminated their target. Unfortunately, work was sparse this week, but they remain vigilant.

House Dragon (Charles), newly outlawed, desperately sought a place to set up a base. Finding a power cable suitable for tapping, they quickly fought off a group of Delaque members in a knock down drag out fight. A Warp disturbance was reported near the area, but there has been no further incident.
Another member of the Delaque house now appears to be following the Dragon, bringing his Heavy Plasma Cannon with him.

The Ditch Witches (Alex) moved by caravan to a drinking hole across the hive. They quickly kicked in the door and made all inside know their place.

There is sparse information regarding the whereabouts of the Spanish Inquisition (Mike) or Vendetta (Matt) during the week. Information will be posted as it is received from our observation drones.

In similar news, reports have finally surfaced about The Diesel Cooperative (Chris) from last week! During a fight with a gang from House Escher, they were set upon by a group of Spyrer Hunters! That sounds bad enough, but it seems that they are being accompanied by their house's Matriarch and Patriarch as well! The fight was a bitter show of determination and violence. The spyrers made quick work of a number of the gang's members, but still they fought on. Even with the pressure coming from the Escher members, they managed to keep in the fray. The Cooperative's leader managed to stand toe to toe with the Spyrer Patriarch and survive... In the end, they were forced to flee, but it was a battle that will go down in Hive legend for years to come. Reports for this week are still pending.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- RULES ADDENDUM -

Firing on Buildings - If you and your opponent agree, you may make an entire building fall if you manage to shoot out each of the support structures holding the building up (all the base corners, for example) using the rules for attacking terrain in the main rulebook. If this happens, roll a d6. On a roll of 1-3, the building falls forward, and on a 4-6, it falls backward. Anyone under the structure as it falls may make an Initiative test. If they pass, they move out of the way. If they fail, they are caught under the structure.

If it is a small structure (two floors or less), any models caught underneath suffer d3 Strength 4 hits. if it is a larger structure (3 floors or more), any models caught underneath the structure are taken out of action immediately. These wounds do not count toward a ganger's experience gain, as the only target is the building, not anyone under it.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Keep an eye on your email, as I will be sending the rules page for the event for week 10!

Week 10 Highlights:

'Attention all Arbite Enforcers.
Be on the lookout for suspicious activity.

There have been reports of numerous vehicles going missing in the areas with open access
to the Undercity.
If you catch anyone in the act of theft, you are to deal with them with extreme prejudice.

-- Arbiter Judge Corveus
"No servant of the Emperor dies unavenged. No enemy of the Emperor escapes unpunished."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Week 10 is over, and it was a fairly interesting fight. Certain things could have gone a little better from the
planning side of things, but it went pretty well overall! Let's get on to the recap.

On one side of the Undercity, a standoff ensued between the Bairn of Nurgle (Xeno), the Wings of the Phoenix (Mario), The Illuminati (Michael), the Flesh Feasters Bounty Hunters, and the Rockjawz Squat Mining Team (Mark).

The Rockjawz were there to liberate vehicles for their potential use as mining constructs, but it turns out a number of the vehicles had a bounty placed on them. Resulting in the appearance of the Flesh Feasters. The Illuminati, the Bairn of Nurgle, and the Wings of the Phoenix, being undercity gangs, clearly only had malicious intent in mind. The fighting broke out early when a shot rang out through the alleyways. The Illuminati had struck out against a Squat who had strayed too far into the open.
After pulling back, the streets remained quiet for a short time, while each gang began work attempting to hijack vehicles. The Arbites intervened shortly after, taking down one of the members of the Bairn of Nurgle. One officer was shot dead at the scene. The Wings of the Phoenix took a short time to get into the fray, as they had yet to figure out how their smoke bombs worked. They wandered blindly for a while until they could get their bearings.
The Squats would meet a quick end, followed by the Bairn of Nurgle, due to the skilled shooting of the bounty hunters and the members of House Delaque. In the end, the bounty hunters made off with a total of four vehicles, with each other gang removing one before they were taken out.

On the other side of the Undercity, a brutal firefight had erupted between the forces of the Filthy Few (Jacob), the Diesel Cooperative (Chris), the Ditch Witches (Alex), House Dragon (Charles), Vendetta (Matt), and the Takamada Inquisition (Ryan).

The fighting broke out quickly, with no gangs giving much of a thought to the vehicles strewn about the field, save for House Dragon, who seemed to bend time itself to move a Track back to their bunker. The first to fall were Vendetta, fleeing the scene, with House Dragon deciding to follow the better part of valor soon after. The Takamada Inquisition ran for cover after their Priest was killed on the scene, with the men of the Diesel Cooperative staying in until the last man went out in vicious hand to hand combat. It was down to the Ditch Witches against the Filthy Few. A steady hail of gunfire and a fallen Ditch Witches leader later, and the battle was decided. The Filthy Few were the last remaining gang, claiming four vehicles of their own before leaving the alleys.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-- RULES ERRATA --

Be on the lookout for a revised rules packet for week 13's event 'Deathrace 40,000'. I have completely overhauled the rules to make it a better event overall, as well as making it more akin to an ACTUAL death race.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
See you all again next week, and I hope everyone had fun!
