Ooh, I missed the stained glass on the first glance-through, it does look gorgeous! And the yellow building is great, just bright enough to add color, but not so bright as to look silly.

The Bitch & Stitch Tavern, Gripenhem. These narrow streets with tall buildings makes for a pretty gloomy town. The air must be pretty cool down at street level.

He's from Reaper, one of the only seated miniatures I've found. I'm always in search of figures at rest, and goblin townsfolk.

Great update! Sunshine has come to Michigan.

The seated guy is the pirate king right?  Reaper has a few seated models but they are usually occupying thrones of some type.  Some historical companies do bar patrons seated at tables but the models are generally true 25mm.  Mithril miniatures had a Bree tavern pack back in the day...

Yeah, most of them that I have are on thrones. This guy is seated on a chest. I've tried unsuccessfully to convert some GW plastics too. Historical's eh?...

mostly just sharp x-acto blades. I score the foam, and open the cuts with a pencil.iuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuk8888888888888i

I always love to come see your work. The progress over the time is simply mind blowing.
The thing I'm the most impressed with is how you carve so much out of foam.
The painting also does it justice and even brings it to the next level.

Do you make plans for your building? Draw them out to get an idea of the look and put down measurements? Or is it a lot more freeflow, cut as you go?

I just love these narrow alleys full of details!
