VERY NICE STUFF! I would agree that there is TOO MUCH silver. You could do the armor pieces on the elbow & knees, buckles, sword hilts, etc. in a yellow/gold metal, a copper, or a bronze to break up the color. The silver could also stand a greater depth of color; an ink wash with some highlighting woud help or work the color up from a dark to a light metallic.
Some basic heraldic rules that might help the overall effect: The tunic should match the shield; i.e., if the shield is quartered in red & yellow, the tunic should also be quartered in red & yellow.
For shield devices [crosses, saltaires, etc.] if the shield is a color [red, blue, green, etc.] the device should be a metal [either white or yellow] or a fur [black or brown]. Mythical or natural creatures are an exception to the rule & can be done in their actual coloration even if it means a color on a color or a metal on a metal. A device that is outlined can be an exception; e.g., a red cross [color] on a blue field [color] is permissable if outlined in a metal [white or yellow] or a fur [black or brown].
With just a little more work your minis will be greeted with a cresendo of jaws hitting the table at gaming sessions. Keep up the GOOD WORK!

I say 3 hours or so for one model. But i try to spread that in two evenings. So it might be a slight bit more or less....

I agree; the MOST impressive part of your pieces is that each one is an improvement over the preceeding piece. WELL DONE!

Yeah i try to learn from the forum, and try out more. I found out... being scared to try is the thing that keeps you back... just try it, and it works out most of the time

THAT'S THE SPIRIT! If you believe you can do something, chances are you CAN. Personally I've developed the attitude I CAN DO ANYTHING. While this is often proved to be incorrect, most of the time it works out that I ACTUALLY CAN. Believe in yourself!

Hey, what Minis are you using for the knights? I find it pretty hard to get unmounted bretonnian knights for mordheim :-/

Bretonnia knights bits for the upper body/arms and head...mixed with command group of men@arms!

I think that you could do a full warband of bretonnians with a Box of Men@Arms ... is full of useful bits.

Yeah i made them with those parts... wait till u see my green knight conversion (Mo! is putting it together)

Can't wait to paint that one! And also there are a few knights on foot. Alot from the 80's but they are pretty lame.

Then there is the questing knight from Warhammer Quest, and one questing knight with a lame pose.

Also a grail knight on foot and a knight of the realm hero on foot.
