| AHA! So that's where the mini comes from. cianty hinted the mini maker's name appeared in his blog... UNFORTUNATELY whenever I try to access his site it locks up my Ancient PC & a reboot in in order. Thanks, No Time! Here's another Dark Sword Doll: DSM1162 - Elmore Masterworks - Female Elven Archer - $7.99 - Sculpted by Jeff Grace | |

The facial expressions on these two are somewhat softer than the Dark Sword norm... rather pretty, eh?! well, the Elf seem to be saying "don't mess with me, or ...." but why are the samourai swords so hot on certain mini's ? I don't really like japanese stuff on fantasy mini's. It's okay for oriental orientated or manga style stuff, but I find them somewhat misplaced between my sword & sorcery stuff ...

| I'm not really a big fan of Oriental weapons with Western minis either...I blame it ALL on Hollywood or George Bush like most things that are screwed up in the world. Since I was running out of painted Reaper minis to post...they NEED a version of 'Eavy Metal, here's another Dark Sword: DSM1114 - Elmore Masterworks - Female Archer - $7.99Sculpted by Dennis Mize (RIP)DSM1117 - Elmore Masterworks - Chick in Chainmail # 4 - $7.99 S culpted by Dennis Mize (RIP)The chainmail bikini is rather cliche, but she has SUCH a sweet smile. DSM1148 - Elmore Masterworks - Female Magic User with Staff - $7.99 Sculpted by Dennis Mize (RIP)In case you're wondering, the RIP in the post appears on all Dennis Mize's scupts for Dark Sword. He passed away earlier this year. As one of the original sculptors, along with Tom Meier & Julie Gutherie, at Ral Partha he was a major contributor to the growth of the miniatures industry & the tremendous improvements in their quality. His passing leaves us all so much poorer. | |

| You don't often find an alluring female snake thingy & the Norse Chick ROCKS! DS's strong points are their attention to details, as you'd expect from an outfit using conception art by three of the Masters in the field, AND their realistic weaponry...no inflatible swords & axes here. NICE CHOICE of minis, BossFacePunch! AND my contribution is this mounted Babe from the Reaper Warlord Crusaders: painted by John Bonnot
| 14228: Isarah, Crusaders Cleric ($14.99) Gene Van Horne
| AND while in Equine mode: painted by Sue Wachowski
| 65030: Gweneth Roanmane, Female Centaur ($6.99) Sandra Garrity

I second that | |

| When asked to describe the perfect female, Jimmy Breslin, womanizing, heavy drinking, Archtypical New York columnist, said she would be buxom, narrow waisted, about 4' tall with a flat head. When asked "why the flat head?". He said, "gives me somewhere to put my beer." Which brings me to my next exposition of female minis...Dwarf Dolls:
|
Thus far no flat heads, which, considering how heavily armed the Lasses are, is probably a good thing for the beer drinkers in the crowd. |

| LOVE the Cat Chicks...the second one down has a rather endearing expression. The Alkemy Cat Folk conjure up adventures in Mysterious Ind in my enfeebled old mind. ACTUALLY there seems to be quite a bit of interest in the game around here...or so I'm told. | |

I suppose for gaming you could use either the Dwarf or the Halfing rules. CUTE little thing ain't she?... AGAIN not flat headed.

| OH how I wish Reaper could have the resources to have ALL their minis painted. | |

That is a BUMMER!, but, now that you have a friend in the USA, these things CAN be overcome. While I'm at it, a couple more Height Deficient Dolls. These Lasses can be purchased individually or on packs of 9 minis: I keep picturing an Eternal Struggle betweel these Girls & my Goblins over proper hygene. | @GobboFreak: I LOVE ALL the Disc World minis... AND the books, of course. I'm not sure how to stack the photos vertically...I think the tags have to be stacked that way. I enter my cut & pastes one at a time... SO they naturally are vertically posted. ADDENDUM:I just noticed Da Bank rearranged his photos vertically. You might PM him & ask how he did it. @hero:That's the Centaur Babe's debute in the thread... AND a LOVELY entrance it is. AND WHEN SISTERS GO BAD:
| 14268: Marquise, Overlords Warlord ($5.99) Gene Van Horne
|
Actually, she could fill a variety of REALLY NASTY roles...she just reminded moi of a Sigmarite Babe.

| Assassin Chicks ala Kill Bill are COOL! An example of the genre:
| 14020: Lola, Overlords Hero ($6.99) Werner Klocke
|
Lola is removable from the base for those who aren't into having her PERPETUALLY perched on a steeple.
